Learning how to do a rear mount radiator properly would be pretty cool!
That would be cool!
Yes!!
Agreed I feel that part is always skipped
I've been wanting to build my own simulator rig but have never welded before, basic tips for something like that would be very helpful!
That’s a Difficult job to do not the welding but building a simulator and making it work in sync with a computer and stuff but fair play if you do it bro 😊
I'd use aluminum extruded profiles, it's a bit more expensive than steel but easy to work with and you don't have to weld it. Using these will also make your rig adjustable because the bolts can slide in the slots of the profile. Ofcourse you need a CAD program to plan it al out and get your measurements. Maybe check out the Track Racer stuff, they use it as well
@@pepomano Thanks for the advice, but part of the reason I want to build it myself is the cost, every prebuilt one I see is overpriced for what it is. Those aluminum pieces are overpriced as well, when you compare them to basic steel square tubes.
Also, If I go the welding route, I end up with a welder and a new skill.
if yall could make a video describing plumbing and pump setup for a fuel surge tank that would be pretty slick
Ok fo sure. I personally have a car I could do so on
Team Chrisket! Woohoo! Yall rock!
Fucking amazing thanks guys. We all would appreciate it. Knowledge is power in any of all things.
Any spare parts hit me up 😂 running on scraps a fan and rad especially 😂😂
😅
Loving the video boys, would love to see a GTO experiment mule as the next series, different engines, different gearbox options, angle kits, the works 😂 maybe alot too ask but aussies dont really have many options for drift parts for cheap when it comes to our GTO's / Commodores, the Commodore from VT to VZ all share the same subframe points as the GTO, so seeing some variety in a car that only had the typical 3800/L67 and LS engines, nothing different other then that, would love to see any type of engine done in a gto, just seeing the bmw get the sauce makes me feel like i wanna see any car get the sauce 😂 GTO might be my number one 😂🤙🏾🇦🇺
Id like a beginer how to (wire) weld video. I know there are dudes out there with these videos, but learning from dudes I already watch and trust, makes it better for me.
Rolcage multifunctie as cooling pipes for the rear radiator
Can you teach us the basics of how to fab a turbo downpipe and how close you can run the exhaust to the floor of the car
Lets Go!!! Would love to see anything you all want to educate us on. Amazing content, as always guys!
Thank you brother
Oh okay we back again!! I need some answer 😂 last video got me thinking 🤔 and i had to watch some videos from Adam
I'd love to see Crickets thoughts on a tubed front and rear, bracketry, mounting for bumpers/lights, etc.
Have all of your components, coolers, lights, fenders etc already so you can build around the components that matter while still making it flow with the lines of the car
My new favorite series! ❤
Thank you!
Love videos like this, building sick cars & teaching dummies like me. ❤
main things i want to learn especially for eventually getting my first car (hoping for e36/46 perhaps a k24 swap down the line) is wiring and an plumbing my goal is probably about 350-500whp or somewhere in that range i dont need alot but i figure thats probably the perfect amount for a nice daily and sometimes drift car
You gotta good kick
🖤💚
do weld settings and tips for cage kits fd legal cage
Got it!
Would be dope to see at the end how much total swap would cost besides suspension etc just wiring, fuel system, etc
Would love to learn about Tube
bending!
Not going to lie, I'd love to move from 5x120 to 5x114.3. SO many more wheel and fitment options I find.
Hello there! Have a great Weekend!🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you! You as well
Can you give tips tricks and how to’s for fabricating an exhaust or charge piping. Like tips on how to get really good fit up and some thing to take into consideration when building a piping system that some people might not think of like maf sensors or all the little vacuum ports on intake tubes.
hey possible dumb question but could you do one on how to properly shave the engine bay / get rid of things not needed maybe? like the dos and donts of getting your engine bay to be beautiful! thank you thank you
Can’t wait for part 3.
Drift HQ ❤❤❤❤ WOOOOOO
I would love to see and beginners guide to mig and tig welding, I’ve wanted to learn for so long but seems overwhelming, tell me where to start and what settings I should start on. I know there’s endless welding tutorials on line but I would much rather watch cricket 🙂
🔥🔥Notification squad 🔥🔥
💚💚💚
I would love to learn how to tig up your own turbo manifold or exhaust! I'm going to try and build a k series swapped te72 corolla
Great videos 👌👊
Good Kick!
Do you have any older videos on how to do a basic 2JZ swap? I'm putting a 2J and CD009 in my Datsun 280z and could use any tips.
Learning how to wire fuel pump with relay
im currently learning pipe bending notching and welding. any tips welcomes doods
fuel system plumbing would be a help im going to be running a mechanical fuel pump and up to the pump i know but any tips and information to help the plumbing process and make it smoother is appreciated
Someone needs to make JZ style engine covers for the B58 and other modern engines that just lazily put a massive plastic shell over an absolute mess. It would really suit the build that you're doing too, ditching the integrated intake for a front mount...
It’s funny you say this cause I stared at the valve cover for a while thinking about how to get something better looking made for it. Cause damn new engines be ugly 😂
@@CrickettFab great minds think alike! I feel like this is what 3D printers were made for...
🔥🔥🔥
Building a cage, bash bars, pipe fabrication in general. What type of material to use for light cages or safe cage. The pros and cons to both.
Everything related to rear radiator setup, all the piping routes and the mounts etc
Working on it!
Yeahhhhhh nice too lern things
💚
This is actually a pretty cool build, if it ends up being stickshift, will it be ZF or T56?
I've E46 B58 w/ HP8 on my to-do list. With SCS Delta GDI6 + CANTCU I should be able to control the engine and transmission. Dunno maybe Link could handle the CANTCU as well. What I'm wondering is the brakes, prop shaft, differential and drive shafts. I'm not building a drifter.
I think it's funny how long this car has been sitting. Pretty sure Bell caged it back in 2021
Do you recommend poly bushings for the sway bar and end links or stay with rubber?
how to cut different pie cut angles
steering and suspension setups
Hey guys I really wanna know how to add AN fitting to stock pumps or stock fuel lines for example adding and making an lines for power steering or adding an to stock fuel hard lines to add a rail
When e36 b58 engine arms are out for sale ?
So i have always wanted to s55 swap a bmw 330ci now im asking myself if a s58 or b58 would be good.
Do you have to disconnect youre battery when welding on you're chaise ?
I know I’m hella late on this but what happen to the is300 ?
How would you guys mount a rear mount radiator set up in a 4 door BMW with out cutting the rear end off? It’s been bugging me for a while on how to do it
Ok we'll get something for you!
Will be Corolla be fire proof?
Learning how to set up a standalone ecu ?
slr or fdf? what's everyone's take on it.
teach us how to do wiring on standalone ecu and map it
Yes!
E46 reinforcement so it can hold all the abuse and pass formula drift inspection
😉
The guy with the long hair. Is he Irish?
Skip TJ HUNTS car. He never ever mentions you guys for putting the car back together. Lack of appreciation is wild. Yall deserve all the flowers.
He literally did an entire video on it at Drift HQ. He's not sponsored by them so why would he? You expect him to shout them out every time you see his Z? You expect Collete to shout out the builder of her new E46 every time she drives it too? Get outta here with that negative shit dude.
@@cobratuner why would collete shout out the person that built the e46. She BOUGHT it. He no sponsored by driftHQ? They literally built him a new car minus the body work. If thats not a sponsorship, then I don’t know what is. Of course he should keep shouting them out, he don’t rock any dhq stickers. That car was destined to be sold and they gave it a new life. And now they about to build him a whole new pro car. I know you probably love TJ, but make some sense my guy.
@@carlooooo0 Did they build it for free or at a hell of a discount? Because if not then they didn't sponsor it. Idk if they did or didn't, I'm js
@@carlooooo0 With your logic Collete would have to shout out the builder like TJ shouting out DHQ. TJ paid for a service, and she bout one that was built by someone. Its the same thing. It doesn't matter. Rad Dan built the car originally but didn't always give him credit unless he was talking about a part or something. TJ in videos has mentioned DHQ when talking about the upgrades they did. That car is only around still cause LZ suggested that he take it and have it brought up to spec. I don't care about these dudes. They're all entertainers that don't know any of us exist. But saying fuck TJs car is wild just because he wont give them extra credit for doing their job. Ken Block didn't give RTR any credit for the Hoonicorn? Why? Cause they weren't a sponsor.
@@Projekt5.3 they are not a performance shop. All those builds are either product development, Adam’s or Duarte or team mates cars. All tj had to probably pay was (COST) on some parts, so they didn’t make any money and drift hq was probably was able to sponsor some parts that was specific to their own sponsors. Listen, if they don’t care about the ROI on it, that’s fine. It just gives that not appreciative TH-camr vibe. But good work is hard to find and it ain’t cheap. Just want to give drift hq their flowers.
Do you need help?? Need worker??? I've built a few racing cars.. 😅😅😅
