      I'm now back at work in So Cal and away from the homestead. 🙁
      I got a lot done but still more to do about the darn pack rats.

    What if you don’t know what variety your fruit trees are?

      Hey there Kathy. As long as the trees are setting fruit heavy like this you'll want to thin them out to give them the best chance to give you larger fruit without breaking limbs. It wouldn't matter what the variety is.

    What about making using sticks to hold it up can't that work instead of cutting them off?

      Hey Domanique! Good question. You probably could help the branches stay up with some type of stake wedged underneath the branch, however the fruit quality and size would be a challenge. Also, when the fruit are pressed together in a bunch they have a tendency to rot and/or have damage from insects that get wedged between the fruit.
