Honestly, I don’t care if it’s sold or not, the maker of this video needs to hear what I’m saying. An Amel 54 is a beautiful vessel. I am a Jeanneau 50 DS owner, so although it’s not an Amel, it’s sort of in the pitch. And many years ago I learned to sail on a 11m ketch, so the whole concept of the original Amels is not unfamiliar to me. If the person who made this video was the owner, they needed to hire a good broker (despite the fact, the boat has been sold). If the person who made this video is a broker, they are a sad excuse for one (again despite the fact the boat has been sold, you are a disgrace). And whoever rolled up that headsail around the roller furler did a shitty job. It needed to be unfurled and refurled properly without all those wrinkles in it. Finally, as best as I remember the bow thruster on an Amel does not just hang down like that. When you want to use it, you extend it. When you don’t want to use it you retract it. That bow thruster looks like shit.

What's with that bow thruster hanging out like that ... I noticed that you didn't go close enough for anyone to get a good look on either side in the video. Is that some kind of aftermarket set up? looks like it would create a ton of drag. The rest of the boat looks as i would expect from Amel ... beautiful boat!

The bow thruster is just fine. The boat is in winter storage, the owner arranges it like that. What do you want to get a closer look on? The boat is like new, perfectly maintained.

it a nice boat, but absolutly overpriced. Everything is from 2011, the sails, the electronic, the washingmachine, the dryer, the disher, the navigation etc., etc. ... come on, you have to invest more than 120 K€ in the next few years, she is not more than 400 k€ worth

You are correct. I do t know what has caused this price hike. A A55 that sold for 500k two years ago is listed over 900k . So unless it includes a big bag of money in the sail locker it is over priced.
