I was the witch player. Had a great time. I thought the witch was fun and flavorful, the main problem (imho) was the formatting of the book - important things were buried deep in paragraphs and easy to gloss over. Definitely needed a cheat sheet with bullet points.

Dying earth seems cool as hell tbh, it's annoying how if you buy it now you are missing two books seems like a bad idea to do that some important stuff from what I have seen. But this mixed with MCC would be hell of alot of fun have weird creatures and NPCs around

Things that I think about as a GM; How do they get the barrels and big ass dining table down the ladder? It would have made more sense to draw stairs.

@@JocularJunction How do you think running the purple planet would be for a new judge? I'll be judging/playing my first DCC game in a few weeks! I figured if I wanted to play, then I should try out judging. :)
I think you can make it work easy enough. The big differences is you can use Green Shards (an item the players find) to spellburn with. There is a new race/class but I'd discourage anyone from using it unless you have a character die and they can be a replacement.
It's a full setting so there's lots to take in, but I don't think it's unmanageable.

I see they dropped a Kickstarter for a 5e zero-level funnel system. What are your thoughts?
I haven't seen any Kickstarter for that by Goodman Games. But I'd think 5e characters are really strong, even level zero characters.
