First things first, credit to OKC. Great physicality and a great star. More importantly, we let it down again. As Eddie House said before the game, the biggest threat to us is ourselves. Jaylen went 0/7 in the second half, Pritchard and Hauser had 3 points, and Holiday Brown and White didn’t score the entire second half. As I’ve said before, when we’re focused and locked in, we’re the best. When we let stuff like referee decisions get to our heads we get lost and lose our way. When we let missed shots get to our head we have to adjust and play with a harder attitude. Anyways, credit to OKC and we go to the Mile High on Tuesday.
@@robocop581 OKC are missing 2 guys, one is a defensive player coming off the bench, so he's like 8th man. on the Cs side, they finally got everyone back on Sunday against OKC, but they haven't actually played more than a few minutes together since the season started. i feet like they're not connected, and it showed up in the 2nd half. it really comes down to chemistry, chemistry that they'll get back as they all play together, HEALTHY (with a bit of luck).
Did this dude even watch the game? Every disruption in play benefitted the Celtics, Dort got called for a tech for “flopping” (a Boston specialty) they got into crunch time and didn’t call obvious fouls for either team, Boston just got outplayed.
another so-called Cs fan who overlooked the 2 sh!te offensive fouls on KP, who was doing nothing worse than what the Thunder were doing to him, and that disgracefully biased call on D White block at the rim. both of those were "home team" fouls that are purposefully called to slow the physicality of the opposing team. refs do it all the time, league-wide, but especially for "hot" teams and "dynasties" like the LA Losers and GSW. rematch in Boston in March. hopefully Chet is healthy so there'll be no BS about injuries etc.
@@johnnyjohnson1027 Tatum is seriously f'ing great, and has been a perennial in the MVP convo & voting, along side Jokic & Giannis, since year 4, 2021-22. - Shai has been there too for the last 2 seasons, and is looking like hot fave for 2024-25. There are a couple of others: Doncic is one who's in and out, depending on injury. Sustaining this level takes real talent, and a bit of luck staying healthy.
"i'm a celtics fan" -- casual highlight watcher who parrots ESPN fakers don't count. what you clearly missed was how OKC got 2 or 3 important "home team" fouls which slowed the physicality of the Cs. i counted at least 2 BS fouls on KP, that were no worse than anything the Thunder were doing, and that totally sh!te call on D White at the basket. this BS happens pretty much every game, all across the league, but the guys should be mature enough to just play through that crap. on Sunday they weren't. the biggest fail was not going cold on offense, it was they let the refs get under their skin.
What you just said is literally a non argument lol 😂 Celtics lead the league in least amount of fouls. Their defensive ideology is to literally play defense without fouling.. in most of their games they’re gonna have some lead in free throw disparity. So pointing out that the Celtics weren’t fouling the Thunder literally is how they intend to play lol 😂
the least intelligent take on fouls on here. shooting free throws happens because teams foul opponents on the shot or on the drive to the basket. if you foul away from the shot you have 4 relatively free fouls, before any FTs. go back and watch the game, most of the Thunder fouls were on drives to the basket, so the Cs went to the FT line.
Stop big up OKC like them win the championship! they haven't ok .It's just one game, its not even the playoffs ok. No time to panic. We still got the 🏆. Porzinghas, Holiday and Brown has just come back from injury and the chemistry just was not there tonight. The chemistry will come by the end of the season barring injury. No panic! Just chill, we'll be alright
Boston will have to go through the Knicks and the Cavs . Not a cake walk like last year . If they run into a young OKC in the finals it will be very tough for them . Thunder are still missing their 2nd and 6th best players and they have the space and picks to upgrade if they want . Plus it is hard to repeat . Advantage OKC .

Just think about a 7 game series. I dont think OKC takes 4 from us, period

Tatum is a cheat code though for sure!

I'm a Celtics fan but stop blaming the ref. Celtics cannot win if they shoot 31/85 fg and 9/46 from 3s and not defending well

OKC had the momentum hence the whistle went their way
SGA is the MVP over Joker this season. Deep down I get we probably want Tatum to get one before SGA but he’s the MVP front runner currently
That's who the Thunder are, they gonna switch the defensive intensity in the second half and it's game over...
27 in the whole half ...wow !
they stopped doing everything that was working in the 1st half... (like aliens stole their mojo 🤣)
@felipeb.9321 that what the Thunder are Aliens
Asking for refs to be more consistent, like Celtics didn’t get almost double the FT attempts… smh
