It's strange not seeing Uchimura and I miss his gymnastics but I'm glad that he's made an impact on MAG and he'll remain as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.
Tang Chia Hung and Lee Chi Kai did Taiwan proud, Tang got into the top 8 in the AA, and Lee won silver in pommel horse. These 2 will be bringing the spotlight on Taiwanese gymnastics
The 3 best gymnasts are at the top of the world 🇯🇵🇨🇳🇷🇺 Dalaloyan is a great champion : 6th on the final after his injury 👍👍👍 Amazing men’s individual all around 🤩 Thanks a lot from France 🇫🇷
Same. As soon as I saw that routine, I understood exactly why he won. And looking at the scoring breakdown, you can see that he had the best pommel and high bat scores for the day. He also had the second highest floor score, only coming in behind Milad Karimi, who finished 14th overall. I know that the medalists were all very close, but to me, it was clear that Hashimoto was the best all-around on that day.
If you guys like that one check out Lee Chee-kai from Taiwan. He basically does an entire routine in flairs. Not sure if his SV is as high as Hashimoto's.
@@kommisar., oh yeah, I love his routines! Based on the score breakdown from the all-around, it looks like Lee Chih-Kai fell at least once during the AA competition, but his silver medal-winning was awesome. Honestly, it should’ve been a gold because there should’ve been more differentiation between his E-score and Whitlock’s E-score. But he upgraded his routine from 6.4 to a 6.7 D for the pommel final. It looks like Hashimoto usually gets a 6.4 or 6.5 D score, so Lee’s medal-winning routine would’ve been harder.
Thank you very much for uploading the competitions INCLUDING the victory ceremony. Can you please upload the rest of the apparatus finals - men and women? This would be great!!
There are dozens of names, short & haphazardly Googled biographies, etc. and the announcers are mostly reading from notes, they simply read what's written down as information. The same male commentator here, for example, also said Sunisa Lee (the women's AA Gold)'s parents were from Vietnam (due to the Vietnam War). But that's not true. They're from Laos (& yes, it's also due to the Vietnam War). Suni Lee, of course, was born in St. Paul, MN., USA.
some many salty Chinese fans here lol. I mean at least study the code of points before you leave a comment, only commenting "underscored" or "overscored" does not help Xiao. Hashimoto did really well here, performed beautiful routines, did not make any major mistakes, followed the rules, maintained a good manner. That's true, hard work beats talents though he has both lol
Also, they kept thinking that Hashimoto's out of bounds should've been deducted more, when in reality he took a single big step (0.3) and the out of bounds was an additional 0.1, so 0.4 in total. Xiao as a gymnast should also know that not saluting the judges would incur the 0.3 deduction, though in this case, it wouldn't have made the difference
Agree and disagree. While it is true Nikita could do much better and have tricks up his sleeve. You could said the exact same thing that Dashi and Xiao could also do much better. One can also said that if Sun did this and that, he would win bronze over Nikita. Nikita is good but he is not Simone or Kohei.
@@crashmariosonic8233 just looking at the competition, Nikita had big mistakes on floor and did not repeat his quals and TF scores. That’s the point. And still, the biggest score of the whole quad was Nikita’s at 2019 Worlds, no one could match it, not even himself. Not even combining all of Hashimoto and Xiao’s best scores in each apparatus. But this was Nikita’s chance and he lost it, I hardly doubt he’ll be able to content for gold in the all around in Paris. He’s burnt and looked super tired the entire olympics.
Как же это сложно хорошо выступить и не сорваться, когда только от последнего выступления зависит станешь ты чемпионом или нет. Какое самообладание!!Еще мало за перекладину поставили!!!
They clearly underscored Nagorniy for the floor and the pommel horse. I wonder why he did not post an inquiry. Good that he got at least a bronze medal! He was worth a title! It's a pity Belyavsky did not make it to the final, and Mikulyak was not in his best shape. Suppose they both finish sports after this Olympics.
Actually his score was Fair on floor. He did the same routine as Team Final, and you can see in AA he made more mistakes, which gave him a lower score than in TF
I wonder if there are any events of the men that the women wish they could do or vice versa? I’d love to see some of those girls on the rings! And some of these men on a beam!
It's amazing how despite this organization receiving billions to air these events, they not only fail miserably to perform the simplest task of synching the video with the audio, but even add insult to injury by putting spoilers in the video titles.
A lot and I mean A Lot of gymnasts. Men and women, spit on their hands before various events. Sunni Lee dang near put a loogie on her grips before her bars final routine. Dribbled out something fierce lol I felt bad for whoever had to use the bar afterwards.
I have a question ... New love of gymnastics for me. Why do only some athletes compete for the individual from teams? For example why is Brody Malone the only one competing, and how come we don't get to see him do all the apparatus?
Hey not all gymnasts of the team events participated in the individuals because not everyone qualified. From 2019 to 2020 50 individual gymnasts were able to qualify for the Olympics. During Qualifications four Team USA gymnasts ranked within the qualifying ranks, with the 2-per-country rule applied the two best in qualifying Brody Malone (11th) and Sam Mikulak (14th) made it to the finals. Now why did they not show all apparatuses? It’s simple, they can’t show everything so they normally focus on the Top qualifiers which this time were Daiki Hashimoto, Nikita Nagornyy, Xiao Ruoteng, Sun Wei, Joe Fraser and Artur Dalaloyan
Like most people I'm no expert but listen to the commentator, even she was very surprised after Hashimoto was given a relatively high score. Just saying.
