  • Vines and fungi - from allies to pathogens
    by Prof. Marc-André Selosse
(National Museum of Natural History MNHN, Institute of Systematics, Evolution and Biodiversity)
Whether in the vineyard, in the cellar, on the leaves or in the soil, as mycorrhiza or botrytis, fungi conceal a multitude of qualities and talents that are still largely unknown to winegrowers.
Prof. Marc-André Selosse unravels, with a great deal of humour and practical sense, the filament of these organisms which, beyond the complex, have the potential to become a precious ally of the winegrower, including on issues such as powdery mildew and grapevine fanleaf virus.
    Vineyards & Biodiversity #2 - Tomorrow's viticulture starts today
    18 & 19 January 2024 - Avignon (Palais des Papes)
This series of conferences, a link between science and the field, offers a genuine overview of the issues surrounding biodiversity, going far beyond the boundaries of land registry and the strict framework of winegrowing in general. Conceived as an open, multidisciplinary and cross-disciplinary dialogue aimed at the wine-growing world, the aim is to share knowledge, highlight and pool practical and scientific experience, break down barriers and create a virtuous dynamic in which biodiversity becomes a collective goal rather than an individual mission.
