Haven't seen anybody in the Canadian market offering this service yet. I'm familiar with Matterport tech, and it's pretty cool to create those 3D versions of homes with spectacular colour and details! I've bought and sold plenty of property as a private business, and never used a Realtor for those transactions, but did need a lawyer. Real time settlement will change all that in a hurry! I think Propy will indeed shrink that market unless Realtors become proficient in this new digital world or Real Estate. I know I intend on leveraging it to the fullest for my business. Unfortunately, the CEO is not telling the entire truth. She says that NFT can be used to assert property rights in court. That is a "forward looking statement" and not true. At this time, no jurisdiction accepts NFT as proof of ownership of real estate. Hopefully, that will change, but before it can there is a lot of standardization, oversight, and acceptance needed. However, all the potential she cites is spot on.

Are you asking how do you protect from fraud by Propy or other 3rd parties? I think for the 3rd parties, if tokenization of deeds and property rights becomes accepted as proof of ownership, then the info on the blockchain becomes the immutable evidence of ownership and you won't need to spend countless hours and $ in court trying to prove ambiguities.
Wouldn't this eventually kill the 3rd party Realestate agent if it's on a decentralized network. Which essentially solves the middle man fee issue. That would be the whole point of Realestate on chain if you ask me.
That's the goal: cutting out the middleman means more money in your pocket. It's similar to the future of self-banking as traditional banks are collapsing and closing.

The ownership of the house selling on-chain should only be “legally” transacted to 3rd party (new owner) on the book. So there is still potential risk where the seller could “sell the property” and go to the court and win the ownership back. I’m speaking on current states, but crypto is a fast moving industry, if you don’t have it this cycle, chances are the product won’t get adopted
