    Honestly why couldn’t we have had more of the Fiore and Yul siblings rivalry instead of Hunter complaining about fiore that would have been more fun to watch and believable

      Short and sweet, they shafted Hunter considerably this season. Also, they wanted the focus with Yul to be on and concerning Grett

    This episode reminded me of why I got into Disventure Camp in the first place. It felt like I was watching Season 1 and early All-Stars, and I just wish we had more episodes like this in the latter part of All-Stars

    Fiore has two different types of sibling dynamics one with ellie and one with Yul I kinda want to see a trio dynamic between Yul, Ellie and Fiore lol

      Fiore and Ellie would gang up on Yul to roast the sh-t out of him and Fiore would probably roast him the most while Ellie laughs lol

      Now THAT would be chaotic, fun, and just awesome. You’ve got them all roasting Yul (as the person above says), than you also get a bit of a sweet duo with Ellie/Fiore too-

    One overlooked element of the episode is both Jake’s expression and how he said that last confessional. I haven’t seen that worried or even panicked over someone before, and Jake, as far as we know, hasn’t been the worst to James (you can argue Ally and possibly Tom depending on how the finale goes for this). James being nearly anti-Jake or paired up with Jake was done purpose. My impression is that James has something on Jake that Jake doesn’t want to made too public. In replies, I will provide some thought and light theories on what that could be that may or may not upset Jake fans.

    • @marklisowski6549
      @marklisowski6549 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If James has some “dirt” on James , speculations or idea on that are:
      1. While the next challenge is in a mineshaft, the episode title may also be a noted Jake episode with a side focus of Riya possibly. If so, what James knows is something relative to Tom/Jake’s exes.
      2. Especially if Riya places 3rd, James may reveal something that Jake lied about, like possibly that “coming out” story. If the show wanted to make Jake the worst character, then they can have Jake parody Johnny FairPlay for Survivor to reveal that Jake lied about his grandmother died.
      3. While the E20 title may seem like a Jake episode regarding Tom, it could reveal that James is Jake so-called toxic ex.
      4. If James and Jake are exes, then Jake used Tom to cheat on James when he went on the show, but Tom fell in love with Jake. To get back at Jake, James outed Jake to his parents by introducing them to the show. Furthermore, James, in addition to social media clout, went on S2 to for revenge with the goal of hooking up with another guy to make Jake as jealous as he could get.. While Aiden started out as victim of James, the redemption arc from James was to noted of when James was starting and truly falling in love with Aiden.

    For Yul I see him being the way he is got him to have a career, he got a manager as he made everyone else look worst by talking down to them, made him look like someone his first manager would pickup. An old manager that let Yul get away with this behaviour and had him Thrive on it. Now with a newer more PC area those old type of managers get phase out and his newer manager all hate Yul behaviour but because they were powerless to convince that Yul should’ve been an entertainer he kept getting away. Then Grett was added, someone whose words and opinions can convince fans that Yul needed to go, Yul couldn’t get away with it anymore and blame Grett for it.

    We just need a show about Ellie/Gabellie or even just Gabby. They’re both great individually, or together. That’s all I have to say

    Gabbellie
    Gabby and tom
    Gabby and grett
    Dynamics are so amazing 🎉🎉
    The ellie redemptiion this ep was so real 🎉
    Plus The trio of gabbellie and grett
    Rn as for who im rooting for..
    Idk 💀
    I really feel it would be awful if yul gets 100k and i just cant accept that lmao
    So idk if riya is the righr choice
    James winning 100k is weird af... he just won 1 million
    And then the show jake which AS has been makes him win, get tom, get the money & all His spinoff
    While gabbellie is pushed to the side jaiden and tomjake get everything
    And there left poor 😭
    Hello ellie as jakes helper would of made more sense.
    And for fiore and ally
    Hm. Ally has pissed me off so much
    But fiore winning 100k is iconic kinda makes ash booting her useless tho lol
    So overall i want gabby to go and steal the money 😎🥳

  • @Yoshixandir

    Honestly I like this episode the only thing I did not like was how the “helpers” were picked. Giving ally fiore almost makes it seems she’s gonna win, giving riya yul sabatoge her chances since they are not gonna reward yul, and Jake getting james a returning winner that’s makes it more unlikely Jake is gonna win since why make james even more richer. Jake partner should’ve been Ellie at least they can try to fix the friendship and it at least gives a rivalry that they can both mature out of, riya should’ve gotten grett, and I feel ally should’ve gone with the predictable hunter/tess/ashley pick.

    • @marklisowski6549
      @marklisowski6549 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I will disagree with James. With Ellie, Jake hates her, and unless Ellie can do something to prove Jake wrong about her, Jake would be berating Ellie the entire time.
      Also, with James, there seems to be more to this. Despite being eliminated first, they have been mindful of what to do with James in both E11 and this episodes. There is a reason why James still can’t stand Jake. If it wasn’t for “Raya”, James would be against him.
      After re-watching Jake’s ending confessional, Jake has never been that worried or even panicked over someone like that before. This is making me believe James specifically knows something about Jake that Jake doesn’t want let out.

    With Hunter’s segment in the episode, many people have noted his arc seems to generate around depression, and I agree with that. Notably, it feels like this scene with Tess is setting up Hunter for a later season. Notably, S2 have a noted focus on Tess with depression. While Ally doesn’t directly struggle with depression, Hunter’s fear is Ally becoming like his mother. In a later season, the depression focus makes likely be on him or another person that Hunter breaks up with or even cheats on Ally. Even if Ally and Hunter don’t breakup by season’s end, I don’t think their relationship is last another season, if the relationship lasts that long. If Hunter is the one struggling through by opting to look for someone’s well being that his mental health suffers in the process, the person who is there for him out may be the the person who falls in love with. Best guess, unless it is a new character, would be Hunter going from Ally to Tess eventually.

    One thing I am frustrated with Grett’s arc is regarding her weight loss story, especially as a sensitive topic. If you are covering a weight loss story, the actual weight loss and cohesively how the person dropped the weight is kinda important beyond how someone looks. While there are bits and pieces to Grett, both personally and professionally, with how dropped her weight, it has been disjointed throughout her arc. Thus, Yul’s comment of gastric bypass to Grett may hold some merit. Even so, Grett possibly going the surgical route to drop weight is still inconsistent and lacking overall.

    • @BowieSlayz
      @BowieSlayz 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      She didn’t use surgery. Yul said that as an insult. It’s not true.

    • @marklisowski6549
      @marklisowski6549 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BowieSlayz I know it is an insult, but since they have yet to have Grett to directly and cohesively address speak about her weight loss to give that story proper (as mentioned, that is very important to arc like this), Yul’s remark can viewed as an implication to currently have it neither true nor false than just completely baseless.
      If this doesn’t get covered in the finale at all, then Grett “weight loss” arc (which can viewed as more body and mental image), let alone as a sensitive topic, Grett’s arc has issues with incomplete and even bad writing in areas.

    • @BowieSlayz
      @BowieSlayz 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@marklisowski6549 So what I’m trying to say, is that Grett did lose her weight. So stop saying “weight loss” like it’s not true.

    • @marklisowski6549
      @marklisowski6549 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BowieSlayz she did lose weight. That is visibly shown.
      My point is that the storytelling (something people love about this show incorporating it) with this part of her arc is borderline terrible to where a comment like that from Yul has murkiness instead of a straight up lie because this element of her arc has its conceptual and execution issues.

    We're done with trash episodes because we have good characters on screen again.
    I love the pairings they made for the finale, it's gonna be very interesting because nobody is very happy with who they are paired with. Or maybe it's just me who wants to see Riya lose her mind over being stuck with Yul like she deserves.

    I don’t like how annoying Tom was this episode. I know he was kinda telling the truth, but I don’t like how desperate he was. Like “He sees the best in people” like NO! HE DOES NOT! Why couldn’t we get a spin-off series of someone who DIDN’T take up half the seasons screen time already! Ally and Hunters streams would be such a better series to watch, because they actually have a theme of gaming!

    • @marklisowski6549

      The mismatched you pointed out notes a sneaky suspicion of mine with Jake and Tom. As merge has progressed, it feels like certain scene or even plot points that was intended for one of them went to the other. With this episode, this feels like something. Intended for Jake that went to Tom since Jake never got voted out.

    • @marklisowski6549
      @marklisowski6549 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For some reason, they wanted Tom to feel like a perpetual failure and even just be incompetent, especially as a cop. Similar with Nichelle from the TD Reboot S1, it seems like Tom is going to lose another job, and the only way for him to have any redemption perceptively is if it Jake takes him back. In turn, it feels like quite a bit of plot points of Tom’s, like the ghosting, are either getting abandoned or significantly watered down in light of whenever they decided to re-vamp Jake to highlight how Jake and Riya are the two worst characters in many regards .
