Presentation skills | in urdu | How to start A Presentation
The lesson presentation will be in the same way as you teach a lesson in the class. A student of
8608 will use some AV aids for presenting the lesson. Besides this, the criteria for marking the
presentation is given below. Keep it in mind while presenting the lesson.
1) Objectives of the Lesson: Clear & measurable lesson objectives and linked to
objectives of the course/subject
2) Introduction of the Lesson: Relevant to topic & students’ life
3) AV Aids: Appropriate for level of students, lesson and the subject
4) Teaching Method: Appropriate teaching method for the age-group of students
and lesson topic
5) Presentation of lesson: Step-by-step presentation of lesson content with clarity
and students’ practice
6) Recapitulation: Assessment technique for determining progress of students on
lesson objectives
7) Time Management: Allocation of reasonable time to various components of a
lesson during presentation
8) Confidence: Confidence of trainee teacher during lesson presentation
9) Interaction with Audience/Students: Trainee teacher was interactive with
audience/students during his/her presentation.
4 What is the marks distribution for final lessons?
Ans: Each final lesson is of 30 marks; the written document of final lesson, which was uploaded
on Aaghi LMS, has 15 marks and its live video presentation is of 15 marks.
5 Will I present one or two final lessons?
Ans: A student of 8608 will prepare and present two final lessons. If s/he presents only one final
lesson, then s/he will receive marks for presentation of one final lesson i.e., 15 marks.
6 Where I will present my final lessons for 8608?
Ans: There will be live video presentation of final lessons through Aaghi LMS portal. Student
of 8608 course can present his/her final lesson from a place where s/he has a good internet
and an uninterrupted environment for presentation. It is not necessary for a student to go to a
school for presenting his/her final lessons.
7 Will I write/develop my final lessons now?
Ans: Students of 8608 have submitted their final lesson-I and final lesson-II on Aaghi LMS in
accordance with the instructions provided for “final lessons” component. They will present those
final lessons in front of his/her group resource person on the assigned date.
8 Which language I will use for presentation of my final lessons?
Ans: It depends upon the lesson/subject you are presenting. You can use a mix of English and
Urdu language depending upon the lesson you are presenting. You can use Urdu language for
lessons of the ‘Urdu’ subject, English language for lesson of the ‘English’ subject or a mix of
Urdu and English language for Science, Social Studies etc.
Please make sure that the students of the class for whom this lesson is planned, are familiar with
or understand the language you are using to teach them.
9 What if I miss my final lessons presentation on the assigned date?
Ans: Please ensure your availability for the final lessons’ presentation on the assigned date. If a
student of 8608 missed his/her turn for presentation, his/her final lessons presentation will not be
taken in this semester again.
