Nicely done. Most other channels make the viewer intimidating to try this repair on their own. You’ve done it in the most simplistic terms by keeping it simple. Thank you for this. 👍

Hi and thanks for your message. It was a simple patch in a discreet place. Some people do cut out a larger patch and replace with a panel available from Alfa suppliers but on inspection this wasn’t that bad a corrosion. I just wanted to get across of how to repair a small patch on any car. I’m having the front end repainted as the cross member has corrosion so I didn’t include the surface prep for painting.

That’s cool. My son and I have been bugging the crap out of my neighbor who has a 1970 1750 tucked in his back yard for years. The car is all complete in all its form, but I’ve noticed some rust spots that have grown over the years. Something to look forward to when I finally get the car. I honestly can say these are amazing cars to have and enjoy. Please do us all a favor, post more videos. Best to you, family, and projects! 👍

Sounds like a nice little project awaiting it’s time. Keep onto that neighbour and make sites it’s brought back to former glory, we all have to maintain heritage and they are worth keeping for our young families to enjoy when they grow up

Glad you liked it. I’m not a pro in any way, but I share my hobbies /videos as there are those in the same position as me who may have the time and the tools but not sure about the method. They are designed around those who DIY to give people an insight in how projects could be done.

I can gaurentee that there's more rust in front of that tape line. You have black spots right at the tape. That's rust you should have went up to where you have no black spots.

Thanks for you advice, I’m most likely going to cut it out again and go further into it to investigate

Hi it’s a ROHR mig-200mI the amp would be irrelevant as that needs to be adjusted to your metal thickness and speed rate your trying to achieve
