Normally is due to bad repairs on the door but, in this case, you cannot modify the door so I'm wondering how you are going to adjust the door shut with the door seal on...

It’s a bit of a cheats solution as like you say they are tricky so I just wanted to avoid the art of aligning it with an old seal. When I have the doors finally painted I may do a round up video of the doors seals and final alignment.
