Okay I am such an over paranoid dog mom, but I am sure you have cyotoes in LA. They often come into residential neighborhoods and can easily jump 6ft fences. Please be cautious with Kinsley outside alone. They are out during the day, as well as night early morning. I would check with your neighbors who have lived there for a while to see what their experiences have been. 🙂
Yes i agree, i have a chihuahua and i don’t let him out without my German shepherd as her protector. Also my friends Maltese fell in their pool so I’m especially anxious
You tube won’t let me post a picture of a coyote sitting on a woman’s car here in Phoenix… they are out there and they are not people shy. A friend of mine had his little dog out in his walled back yard and watched a bobcat jump down, grab his dog and jump the fence before he could get out the door. Predictors are a real issue and should be taken seriously.

Your ferns will come back after the freezing weather! We have a 50 year old fern in our yard and it grew back with full force after many freezes. Keep those ferns!
