I love seeing this child playing the violin and seeing him here singing this beautiful song melts my heart for him. He's very proper and serious most times. Brilliant performance by both. Bravo Akim!
Simply wonderful, they both did great. Brings back memories of my mother singing when I was little. She tried so hard to help me understand this genre of beautiful music. Unfortunately I was not designed to sing. But I was able to find a deep and aging love for this and all sorts of other genres of music. Sadly I lost my mother to cancer August 28th 2001, 2 weeks before the 911 attack. I was home on emergency leave and trying to deal with her passing and was not able to properly grieve my loss. Now when I listen to this music, it is with bitter sweet memories. I still cannot sing but I love music that much more. I get I now Mom. Thank for the teachings.

The harmony line in this duet is much more difficult to pitch than the melody! I love the way this little boy sang his line so securely, especially standing next to such a strong soprano. Bravo Akim!
