I just bought a 2018 High Altitude in black with 23k miles. It has everything this one does. I cant tell you enough how nice these Jeeps are. I went from a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo to the high altitude. It's a HUGE difference. This Jeep is simply amazing and well worth the money! I will never own another model other than the High Altitude!!!
No it’s a 2019 with only 20k miles on it it’s a baby the only thing I must say is get a remote start I live in NY and it’s cold already but it defrosts fast it only takes like 5 mins
Bomb Nia whats your total a month including insurance? And this car is really nice might cop it soon just never owned a jeep due to people saying that it has problems always sticked with something like honda
I have this model 2018, same color. Drives great, takes curbs, bumps, ditches , everything easily. Its my third model of grand cherokee. Love all. Suspension system is why I rebuy, corners like a car so I can still easily corner/maneuver without feeling suv- like. But functions like an SUV takes dirt in stride.
My mom is probably gonna get one of these.. I’m so proud of her especially after dealing with our horrible and extremely temperamental 2010 Range Rover that was supposed to be perfect when we got it. She loves everything about the color and smooth ride
I have a 2019 High Altitude and love it. Beautiful color - Sangria. Always loved Jeep but this is by far my favorite. Only issue for me is I can't locate my tire pressure display on home screen. I know it's there....but where? Great vehicle otherwise.
Bros FOURR Speed it was a new trim for 2019 and is continued for 2020. I was interested in a detailed review so I know what I’m getting into. It’s the LIMITED X. They are everywhere.
Always have loved these! The exterior is phenomenal with the black paint and wheels! My only complaint... I really hope there are optional interior colors to choose from besides the black. There's no color what so ever to break up all that black inside. What I mean is if I want this particular model with this exact packaging, I would want a lighter interior.
I just built one and unfortunately black is the only interior color for the high altitude. The overland lets you change the interior but it doesn’t come with the blackout package.
Gio S6 I have 2 kids so black was good for me. I’m stationed overseas, I should have it by the end of this month. Will provide an update after a month of driving
I think they both have the same options as far as what they can do, but the high altitude just has the gun metal rims and grill and blacked out accents, as opposed to the overlands chrome.. it also has duel square exhaust in the back as opposed to the overlands circle exhaust, the overland also has extra badging on the back and in the front seats
Altitude trim sadly does not come with panoramic roof, only a regular one and it came as an extra option not on the base models, the high altitudes all have the panoramic roof from what I’ve seen
Gauges look cheap, Jeep should use the Wrangler analog gauges, old school and sexy. Otherwise a really competent SUV. Price is way too high, always shop around and you can get 5-10k off listed price easily.
The turning radius is 18.55' to 19′ (depending on equipment, generally the suspension choice) which is quite small for a mid-size SUV. It's even smaller than an compact Audi Q3 (19.2'). For comparison, a Lexus RX has a 22.6' turning radius Ford Explorer has a 19.6' turning radius Ford Edge has a 19.65′ turning radius Chevy Colorado has a 20.65 to 22.3′ turning radius (again, depending on equipment, generally bed and cabin length) So it's smaller than most of its direct competition and the Colorado was just there to show a small-ish truck which a lot of people cross-shop with this. You'd have to have compare it to whatever vehicle you're looking at specifically.
If any 2014+ Grand Cherokee owners are watching this, I’d really appreciate to know your mileage and ownership experience! Planning on trading in my is250 for one (2014+ 4Runner’s are waaay out of my budget)
I have a 2014 Summit V-8 bought new back then. The water pump was replaced under warranty, The passenger side headlight started acting up and that cost 440 to replace. Now the drivers side is acting up too. I have 39,000 miles on it now. Other then that, I've had no other issues.
I've had a 14, 16 and now 19SRT, Mine were all hemis , the v6 is a excellent engine also, dont listen to people who bash them , chances are they never owned one , FACTS are it has the HIGHEST LOYALTY OF ANY SUV BRAND !!!!
Ravaniscool good to know. I want to find one around 45k miles so I can get the extended warranty through jeep, but I doubt I will. 4x4 and Limited with the large screen & sunroof are a big must for me.
@@giovanniralejo9017 Who's an idiot? I know it's a V6, he shows that at the beginning of the video. The MPG and 0-60 times he says are for the V8 model, not the V6. He was reading off the wrong stats.

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 178,000 miles on it. Never had a problem with her. I just bought a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude in black just like this one with only 23k miles on it. I paid 38k for it. It is the best SUV on the Market. Most reliable and dependable ever!!!
@@jdj946 I would hold my words on that that one. Hopefully your lucky in those terms with your new jeep. As you start to adding many more miles. But they've been rated as poor reliability. Go on car complaints.com and car news. In general just do your research, at least this way if there is a common problem for the model year that you have, you can be aware of it at least. But they are a beauty, sadly that's not enough to keep them just as reliable like a Toyota.

Love the car but hate the glossy black finish on the car. I think an all white high altitude with the black trims look the best
Yeah white would definitely look cooler in my opinion too especially with the black accents.

What's the difference between the Overland and Hight Altitude trims levels?
I don't think anything to be honest. High Altitude seems to be more of an appearance package that blacks a lot of the exterior out

What are differences between 19,20 and 21 Jeep HA's?
I don't think there are really any. The newer years might have a few new features or trim levels. But fundamentally its the same

Anyone know how well the "turn ratio" is on this in general comparison to other suv's?
