I think Madan Mohan is one of the greatest music director of all time. His melodies are ones that linger in the minds of all Hindi music lovers, Some years ago, in the Saregama music competitions, majority of the songs selected were Madan Mohan's compositions because of their inherent musicality and these gave the competitors a great chance to showcase their singing talent. It is sad that such beautiful melodies are no longer heard in Bollywood movies nor in any of the musical competitions for the most part. Long live Madan Mohan and his immortal music.
