ऐसा म्यूजिक बनाने वाला न था,न है, और न होगा। बचपन से लेकर अब तक मैं सिर्फ ओ.पी.नैयर के गीत सुनता एवं देखता हूं।
रूचि जी आपकी यह बेहतरीन पेशकश हमारे दिल को छू गई आपके अंदाजे बयां का कोई शानी नही है बहुत ही लाजवाब बहुत ही आकर्षक बहुत ही लुभावनी कोयल की तरह मीठी लगने वाली कर्णप्रिय आवाज है
जो कानो के रास्ते दिल सीधे दिल तक पहुंचती है और सीधे आप से जोड़े रखती है इसे हम आपका जादू कहे या फिर करिश्मा लेकिन दोनो बाते अपनी जगह फिट है किसी जमाने मे यही बाते अमीन शयानी के रेडियो सिलोन के दौर मे लोगो के सर चढ़ कर बोला करती थी और लोग उनकी आवाज के दीवाने हुआ करते थे
लोग उनकी आवाज को सुनने के लिये सप्ताह तक बिनाका गीतमाला का इन्तजार करते थे तब कही उनकी आवाज के दीदार कानो को हुआ करते थे
वह भी सिर्फ रेडियो पर वह भी बुधवार को
वही इज्जत वही आवाज ईश्वर ने आपको दे डाली है अब मै ईश्वर का धन्यवाद करू या आपकी आवाज को परखने वाले उस सख्स को जिसने आपकी काबिलियत को परखा और आपकी इस आवाज को हम सब तक पहुंचाने के लिये आप को चुना और रेडियो के माध्यम से हमे रूबरू कराया हम दोनो के एहसानमंद हैं हमे आपने ओपी नैयर जी के बेहतरीन गीतो और अपनी बेहतरीन आवाज की अदाकारी के माध्यम से हमे कुछ पल के लिये ही सही हमे उन दिनो मे पहुंचाया जिसे हम वर्षो पीछे छोड़ आऐ थे और हमने उस पल को उसी तरह से जिया और एक लम्बी सांस ली और फिर आपने हमे बुढ़ापे के दौर मे वापस ले आकर छोड़ दिया जहां से हम वापस आने के लिए तैयार नही थे
कोई बात नही आपने जो हमे खुशी दी उसके लिए हम आपके आभारी हैं
काश हम आपके नजदीक होते तो आपके सर पर हाथ रख कर आशिर्वादो की वारिस कर देते फिर भी हम यही से आपकी लम्बी उम्र की दुवाऐ करते हैं ईश्वर आपको हमेशा खुश रखे और सबो का आशीर्वाद मिलता रहे

OPN was a sensation in the Musical World. He had his own style & niche. Many tried to copy him but couldn't reach near him. They used be more classically trained than OPN but OPN marveled in his own composition. He used voices of Ashaji, Geetaji, Rafisaheb, Mahendra Kapoor in unique style. A genius in true sense.
