Virtua fighter indirectly created modern gaming. Without it Sony wouldn’t had gone 3D for the psx. PSX was a game changer that pushed the industry. Without Virtua fighter, there is no ff7, Tekken metal gear solid etc. AND there won’t be games that the inspirations inspired! Virtua Fighter is one of those games that earned its right to be preserved
I really want to see Siba in Virtua Fighter 6. He doesn't have to use his sword, but it would be cool to see him use his hands in slashing and stabbing motions or a assassination based martial art. That Takeru Ryushoji guy... definitely Jin Kazama! Thank you, Sega and you're welcome, Tekken fans!
@@finnmarr-heenan2397 No, we don't want Tekken nonsense in Virtua Fighter. Adding a sword would move this away from being a based fighter, save that for a VF RPG or a story mode clip or something. Personally, I don't think Siba even needs to be in the game or story at all, full stop. Have him as an Easter Egg somewhere, maybe a collectible, but that's it.
@@Longlostpuss it should be like Wolf's Giant Swing: if you get grabbed by it near a ring edge he just pulls out a sword and stabs the other fighter to death. It's not a weapon, but a grab prop

Ever check out that weird VF CG portrait series, Akira's portion is might as well be Shenmue concept art lol. Casual Akira is legit the same design as Ryo from the saturn footage mid development.
Absolutely adore this series since I first played the original on arcades as a kid. I really wish we could get a Mortal Kombat like story mode because we've never had endings or any sort of in game lore. It's frustrating because even though fighting games don't need deep lore it's still nice to get emotially involved with the characters
