We embarked on a journey to Sayalgudi beach situated in Ramanathapuram, a post-monsoon haven adorned in vibrant greenery. The area attracts a plethora of migratory birds, creating a picturesque scene. Sayalgudi, approximately 60 kilometers from Ramanathapuram town, serves as the final village connecting to the neighboring Thoothukkudi district.
Upon reaching Sayalgudi beach, a tranquil and serene ambiance unfolds. The landscape is adorned with uprooted trees sculpted by the force of waves, and majestic palm trees, creating a unique evening atmosphere uncommon in most beach settings. The sunset, peeking through cascading palm leaves, captivates and mesmerizes.
Our delightful beach experience unfolded in front of Nandhini Beach View Resort, where access is limited to resort guests. After a refreshing swim and relaxation by the beach, we headed to La Palmera Resort for dinner. This mega-project boasts 40 rooms, serves as a wedding and reception venue, and more. The beautifully designed motel features a private beach, providing a truly exceptional experience.
A night walk within the resort revealed its grandeur, and we indulged in a delicious dinner. The staff exhibited exceptional service with a pleasing demeanor. With its promising features, La Palm Resort holds the potential to become a sought-after tourist destination, catering to those exploring both Ramanathapuram and Thoothukkudi🙏🏿
