damn, if our firehouse siren takes a poop, it takes a poop. we don't have back ups. But thankfully we have not had a problem during it's 40+ years of service. And we plan to keep it in service with absolutely no plans to take it down.
"the sick cow" sounds like a Sentry, maybe a 3V8 or 7V8B. the one on the pole looks like a Federal Model 2, and the main red one looks like a Federal Model 5(T). the one in the tower may sound sick, but it sounds like its trustworthy.
@JRCollinsfan I hate to burst your bubble but my friend Dave told me it's a Sterling 2V8 (Red). And yes the the main siren is a Model 5T(Red), and the lil one is a Model 2(Grey). Btw I do live near a 2V8.
The little one closest.to the camera is similar to glenrowans except Glenrowans.is slightly bigger how far can it be heard from ours is up to 7 8kms.sometimes further with wind
@BubbleFoxHydro I hate to burst your bubble, but there's no such siren. unless you are suffering to a Century 2V8. Sterling became century in I think the 50's but I might be wrong on that. as far as I know Sterling never had a *V* series.

where is this at? do they run the sirens at night too?
@TheMoj18 thanks! I guess you would get used to it, and not get woke up at night? lol
i cant tell if the low pitched siren is the red model 5 over there or something else
@247Countryboy1 Ah, well my friend Dave Fritz knows a lot about sirens, especially ones like these, as well as he knows the county's other sirens.
I see three sirens. What is the one on the roof by the tower used for?
