Werner at first glance may looks like he's a noble, but he's not and he's actually from the lowest caste who rose his rank to become a knight. In a way, he's a subversion of Leon/Lanford archetype. I think Werner's conversations are interesting to read, I would say his conversation right now ties with Julian for my favorite, of course I haven't played all the conversations so my opinion may changed once I read all of them.
