- After returning to Jerusalem, the people were given a command to rebuild the Temple, but they were too wrapped up in their own affairs to bother. As we study what happens when they get called out on their disobedience in Haggai 1-2, we learn important lessons about priorities, discontentment, repentance, and God’s blessings.

Brother Brett: I'm an OLD GEEZER and I never get tired of listening to your humor, your insight, your '"off-the-cuff remarks" and your delivery in general. But, more importantly, I appreciate your knowledge and your understanding the scriptures, your research and organization, and finally your passion and energy, I visit your sermons and teachings several times a week!

Yes, Pastor Brett is a great teacher of the Bible.
Please pray for me. I am not vaccinated and still believe this was the right choice. We refused to live in fear. What happens is to happen...with thar said. In October I had covid and rode it out at home on my couch. My double vaccinated neighbor who I had no contact with got covid from his work...he proceeded to get covid pneumonia. My other (triple vaccinated) neighbor got covid from him! So my family stayed home and covid passed. On the 8th of this month I had blood work done...my kidney filtration levels have plummeted this year by 16 points! I am reading that covid can have this effect on people even if they weren't hospitalized. I have blood work again in 6 months. In that time I need to lose 50 pounds to lower my cholesterol and hopefully to help my kidneys regain function. I'm borderline Chronic Kidney disease and I have never had bad kidney numbers before. Bam! Just like that. I do believe there are those fully vaccinated that will find they have kidney problems too so I do not at all regret not getting vaccinated...I do not believe it would have changed my outcome. My son lost a 17 year old friend of his to heart inflammation right after he said he had his covid shots..... Covid is a thing, I know this but we can do more damage trusting man and not God. God will do with my body as He wishes but it is time I take care of it better. My body is a temple and I have abused it. Please pray my kidney numbers and cholesterol improve. I'm 38....I feel too young for this. I will do the best I can and leave it and the rest to God. Thanks in advance for all the prayers I can get. Prayer, I believe in...that vaccine, not so much.
Ease your mind and stop worrying so much. God will take care of you. I'm praying for you and that God's peace will comfort you. Be strong and courageous and trust the LORD!
@@ronmeyer4507 Thank you 😊 I am trying very hard not to worry too much. Today I got a letter from my doc who consulted a nephrologist. The nephrologist says my other numbers are normal so I most likely have stable renal function. They do want me to take some precautions (which I am already doing) though and to watch my numbers. I expect in October, everything will be back to normal. That letter gave me a lot of peace. The kidney doc isn't worried. Thank you so much for the uplifting note. God bless you!

I'm down 21 pounds so far! Trying to stay hydrated and eat well. 6 more pounds and I'll be out of the obese category.
I stopped going to church because all services were white washed. I seek the Lord. I seek out services that will uphold His teachings.

I love watching your church from Vegas, I think its the perfect time to go to the real Sabbath, Saturday. That was a commandment that the Catholic Church changed and it should be made right.

I attend a church in Virginia that never talks about the rapture and end times . When they do its to say "no matter what's going on remember Jesus is in control and pray for our enemies " . My only problem with that is pastors like that would have just been praying for goliath rather than going with the strength of God behind them to slay goliath. There is a time to pray and there is a time to fight.
Praise the Lord went tomy church 13yrs pastor bishop passed away oct last yr. Never the same.so i am looking for a church.but love your teaching.but i am on the phone with a prayer partner since i left.

The thing I miss is the music pryer the service. When I watch again it’s not there.the passion in Joey singing is lifts my up. When listening to Athey music it’s not the same.

I truly enjoy your teaching. There is [e thing I do take issue with and that is your stand on the moving of the Holy Spirit. You joke and make fun. It's quite obvious to me that you have not experienced the incredible indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that your eyes and heart will be opened. You are really missing out by hardening your heart to a special gift. It's like no other. Again. I enjoy your teaching and believe it is God inspired. Just be cautious of your joking about the power of the Holy Spirit and making those of us that have experienced the fullness of God feel as if the gift we have been given is less than or wrong.
You know sadly when I hear these things, I feel less of a person because you are shaming me because I have no church. I can't get around like I used to and my body is broken so I go online but hearing these things makes Me not want to go to church anyway especially since I can't get there. Why would I want to be with people who feel this way- clearly you don't think a single person can be Christian without gathering. . I spend time with Jesus and his word and he is enough for me and I AM a Christian even if I'm not enough For man and his gatherings places because I can't get to those place to be with other Christians! God still accepts me! These usually build me up but today you tear me down not build up. I will continue to have faith in Jesus even though I don't gather because I don't believe he will foresake me for that given my condition.
I think he is referring to people who can go, but choose not to.

I pray for physical healing for you, and that a way is made for you to attend church in person. If you simply cannot make it, however, there's "no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."
The Holy Spirit, I believe, will convict the people Pastor Brett was really speaking to about this. Specifically, it's the fearful and/or jaded believers that need to be called out and restored to the assembly.
The temple was no longer the place to find God , now they worship where they believe it was praying to a wall God is not in the stones. Israel needs Jesus the same as us gentiles he’s not a but the door to salvation.
I’m. Sorry to say that I have not been to a church for a long time but it was not a virus it was women ministers ,it’s har to find a church that holds on to bible teaching this is not a excuse so much as laziness
