I’m praying for Israel. To come to no Jesus Yeshua as their savior. I had heard 99% so 70% is better . Thank you Jesus! The blinders will be removed when the final Gentiles come in to the Kingdom. We should be praying for them daily til our Jesus comes and gets us! Amen 🙏
I can't lie, I have not been in the word as much these past few days because I feel like I am having an existential crisis and you know what? this is probably when I should be in the word the most. Thank you for uploading these videos and reaching me while I've been in the depths of despair.
Don't despair Ruby! Get into the word and you will find hope and joy. I have learned more the last 2 years and it gives me joy even in the midst of the chaos.
You need Biblical principals instilled EVERYDAY. I have found this from experience. One week is too long. If you miss one weekly church sermon, you are missing TWO weeks of support. The humanistic world is chipping away at you every waking moment.
I always love all of your services and the Athey Women, Wednesday Bible study and prophesy updates. Also, confession: I enjoy the Iron Works! Thank you and the rest of the Athey Creek team for everything you do every day!
Awesome!👌 fantastic! 👏 thank you brother in Christ Jesus for such an interesting and captivating video with encouraging content, a " wonderful spiritual revival " lookalike. May the Holy Spirit keep inspiring you to " Feed the Lord's sheeps ", like Jesus asked Peter. " All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work..."(2 Timothy 3:16-17). To God be the glory, praise the Lord Praise Jesus. Glory Alleluia Amen 🙏
Many of us that are older have the old hymns that are often based on scriptures and give us a way of salvation even as we hear the old tunes the word can open up your heart to the Lord
Sadly 99.9 percent of our local community church’s have really lost their way 😔🙏🏻😣 I was so great-full to find you teaching of three the Bible on TH-cam really gave me so much hope and understand that I didn’t have access to before
And sometimes as far as worship is concerned, those who are leading worship need to worship, setting that example for the congregation, not as a show, but just out of their hearts! Others eventually will begin to lift their hands to the Lord!

❤️ I absolutely love this Church and Channel! Me and my husband watch every service we can. The very BEST worship and fantastic teaching. Pastor Brett is blessed. Is this Church or pastor taught from a Calvary Chapel foundation? We are Calvary Chapel and everything is the same and on spot with our home church! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼✝️
Brett's commentary regarding the theological terms "chosen", "election", "predestination" "foreknowledge" and the "yes and yes" position and the indirect reference to Psalm 139 gives rise to the following questions: Does God know the future eternal state of all people before they were formed in the womb? Does God "form" (create all people) past, present and future? Did/Does God create people whom He foreknows will not "walk through" Ironside's door and consequently endure torture for eternity?
I'll try and keep this simple, because whole books and commentaries, sermons and teachings have been written and given to address them. So... 1 ) Yes. In the Psalms, we read that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made...". But it also says "...I was conceived in sin...". Paul writes in Romans that when he sinned, or sins, it it not HE that sins, but his flesh, which is prone to tend naturally towards sin. Our shortcomings, of which G-d the Father, who has written the Book of - our - Days, knows of. But, because of His longsuffering and His Son stepping up for us, He has compassion. However, it is WE, because of our Free Will, who can choose how to be, react and respond, word, thought and deed, each and every day. 2) G-d the Father, as said in Hebrews, is "the same yesterday, today and forever". Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, who sees the end from the beginning, as stated in The Book of the Revelations of Jesus Christ, as described by John. So, again, yes, He does. 3) This is, perhaps, the hardest question. The theory of 'predestination' has been argued over by better and cleverer theologians over the last 2000 years, and still continues. My answer is this: refer to the Bible and ask the Author. We are born, live and die. These are the definable constants from our POV. G-d the Father, well, see answer 2. But, we choose our course (answer 1), so as for who gets what and where they end up, Jesus says this: "Many are called. Few are chosen.". It's this 'chosen' thing that throws everyone. He waits for us to answer His call, in and out of the Christian walk. But, even if He chooses you (Ps. Brett is talking about this while I write @ 30:00 minutes!), you needs to respond. If not now, later, even at near death (though not a good time, one will lose out on a lot this side of life). So, both/and. This is my take on these things, take or leave it, but G-d the Father has the final say. Keep listening and learning. Shalom.
@@chrismaguire3667 Thanks for the reply. Would you be willing to answer my 3 questions with either a "yes" or "no" before providing your "take." Maybe that would help me better understand your position.
Thank you. Yes, okay: 1) Yes. 2) Yes. 3) Yes. But no. All for the same reasons given in my first reply. But, remember, do check in Scripture, before asking anyone else (even me), to "see if it is so", as Paul commended the Bereans, in Act 16 (I think) for doing. Take your time, and pray as you do. Shalom 😇
As you cry out to God he will meet you where you are if your heart is truly for him. Strongholds can be loosed as we walk in the spirit and not in the flesh. Taking every thought behavior captive and putting it into obedience to Jesus Christ. We can not do it in our strength but by his strength. We get this by faith, through repentance God hears our prayers! If we love Jesus he’s holy scriptures reminds us then we will obey him! If we love him we can cry out help lord and he will help if we are willing to surrender and hold on to faith! He will help it’s by his spirit ! Praise God!

I worship with you several times a week. I love y'all. However, I would like to hear a preacher or elders consider that maybe some people are leaving the block buildings is because Pharisees in charge. We have been told if we don't attend 3 times a week we are going to hell. They have taken blessings and made them law. You can't even bring a bottle of water inside the building etc etc. Suits on Sunday, no worship on Saturday etc. I COULD write a rule book. Not just my block buildings. 100s. No fellowship. Don't blame me for standing for the word of God. The denomination has gone from 2.5 million down to 1.2 million. Now how about looking at both sides. We worship at home 7 days aweek. I wonder if Pastor Brett believes God creates people that He knows (exhaustive foreknowledge) will reject Him and thus spend eternity in hell? I wonder if such an interpretation of scripture, in some sense, makes God complicit in a person's damnation? My guess is Brett's response would be "yes" to question 1. My guess his response to question 2 would be to deflect with misinterpreted references to Romans 9 potter/clay analogy and Isaiah - "my ways are not your ways" (skeptical theism).
There is a million and more options on the opening worship of a church and the proper way. I really feel that when it is all brand new songs it will kill the vibe because you don’t have corporate worship just the leaders. And maybe they feel the spirit, but I really only feel the strong sense of the spirit when the church really gets going together, in most cases. And the other opinion is that the songs we sing together are ones that worship our Father. Not just any catchy Christian song or telling a story but worshiping the King of kings. Because that’s why we are there. I thought that maybe when introducing new songs they can also be played over like an intercom system or something just to get us familiar with the song before going in to praise Hashem. But I’ve mainly thought that recently because I want to know what a new song says before I want to utter it out of my mouth. Cause you never know these days. Haven’t been to Athey. Just watch and worship with you throughout the week. Thank you for your teaching and being true to the word. God bless.

Well, Paul, writing to the Corinthians, would agree with you. They were Christians living in a rowdy port city, and, when the fleet was in, the local prostitutes would be dressed seductively and be out in force. Yeah, Paul did go on about the girls' dress and hair styles in the church, but a lot of them were still baby Christians and like the fashions, which made the sailors think they were prostitutes as well (look up what they found at Pompeii in this regard - yikes!) and would proposition them. Trouble is, some of them WERE ex-temple (Diana) prostitutes, and were well used to it! So Paul gave them some advice, amongst some other things. Paul spoke into a particular situation, but he wasn't a mysogonist, as we count it, but he was still a product of his Paternalist society.
