We should have a remote to operate the doors, ramps, and elevators. That would also help immensely when driving a ground vehicle out of a ship. You wouldn't have to exit your vehicle to close the ramp, then get back into the vehicle.
The barrier in the mid level stair access is because they didn't implement multi level ladder in this ship, so they block it so you wont fall down. You can only go to the top floor with the ladder and then down.
Still very much WIP as is the rest of the game, but I'm happy for Carrack owners. This ship was a very popular and much anticipated ship when it came out years ago.
"adding alot of things to this ship" they only added a blast shield and allow Cargo Pods to barely open enough to be useful. it's till missing about 10+ of it's originally intended features.
We're waiting on: 1. The drone operator room (and drones in general) 2. The repair workshop 3. Modularity 4. Jump point mapping (whatever that means) Only 5 years later, getting close!
Thank you for the video, In the CARRACK update, did he find a magnetic hangar door? What if the two doors that lead to the outside at this level can be used?
@@user-lu5hw1iw8g I do remember a time period where you could land on the doors. Lots of things have changed, especially after 3.18. I doubt it will get fixed any time soon!
lol the blast shield on the front glass bruh that pretty major update even more than the cargo as that was suppose been release when 1st came out and cargo box are just bandaid fix they suppose drop off the ship as that was always the plan CIG putting doors is what call lazy cop out fix.
Manual loading was fun the first time. But when cargo hauling is your favourite loop, it gets annoying real quick. I had to drop it for something else, I simply don't have the time to manually load and unload the ship..
Sloppy quick "solution" to keep the Carrack owners quiet. Hush now, we gave you doors so no more complaining, ok? If i remember correcly the cargo modules should be able to drop down to the ground instead of the doors acting like elevators or ramps. Correct me if i am wrong.
You are correct about the whole module dropping down. That will be much better than having the tailgate dropping down like a delivery truck. You will be able to load cargo in-place without a double move. They had to do something with manual cargo these days. In the past, cargo just magically appeared in the holds. I do believe this is just a start. I think several ships will get updated...like the Constellations!

A command on the mobiglass.
Yes control from the mobiglass I suggest this also in one of their forum chats. Hopefully they do this it would add such huge help.
noice with the cargo pods, finally some level of usability, hope they don't forget caterpillar when they do the door/ramp drop down

You missed the working chess board in the captains quarters.
4:55 The buttons do open the doors they correspond to, but the starboard door button is on the port side of the panel and vice versa. Infuriating.

Was? This is probably the peak of interior ship design in this game, 2nd maybe only to the 890.

Thanks! Are you asking if you are able to land a ship on the outside of the hangar doors? I doubt it, but something I can check
@@SnackpackingTV Yet this was possible before, and why are there doors that open on the outside of the hangar door then ?

@@SnackpackingTV It’s true why you should care about the QOL of the Backers
But the pods can’t be dropped or changed for other uses yet.
Always a slow drip with CIG. 2 steps forward 1 step back 😂
someone should make that twitch channel in the description a link 🙂
Haha it wouldn't let me because my channel was too new. I just completed the verification so I can put links in there now.
come on guys, 2.3k views and 20 subscribers?
Thank you for subbin!

Agreed. You are supposed to be able to have it auto loaded still, but it's super bugged out right now.
@ For an extra fee.. and if that's not bad enough, It'll cost even more precious time just waiting for the game to let you play.. 🤷🏼♂️

Right, I believe the original idea was for the cargo pods to be entirely detachable, which would be useful once we have base building and crafting.
Useless for its role not enough crew members12 crew would make it work.
Too high fov looks all wrong
how are they? useless
I'd argue the ship is less useless with accessible cargo. Now, the foreskin shield I would agree 💩
