Regarding the hydrogen fuel capacity you also have to consider the fuel flow to judge it finally. According to SC Ship Performance Viewer the Vanguard has a fuel flow of 0.1702 scu/min, the Guardians only have 0.0353 scu/min. So you have to set these values in relation to the capacity to see which ship can stay longer in the fields. And in this case, the Guardians can last longer than the Vanguard. So the "low" hydrogen capacity of the Guardians is in fact not low, it is quite high compared to its fuel consumption.
Interesting. Ships hydrogen usage is normally associated with it's mass, but maybe the lovely Xian tech MISC/Mirai likes to play with is way more efficient.
@@KaybeCA In reality this would definetly be the case. But in a computer game the fuel consumption is just a value of a variable that can be changed anytime by the devs, unless it is calculated somehow. But as these values are from SC Ship Performance Viewer, and this website uses datamining in the game files. So it is most likely not calculated but a simple value of a variable in the game.

It is definitely a very interesting ship, but sadly, it seems like it will overall lose out against the cutlass. Cutlass has better maneuverability, similar dps and greater role flexibility. What does the Guardian bring to table? An ungodly amount of alpha damage from S5 deadbolts and wings that serve as spaced armor which in total gives it ridiculous durability. It also looks REALLY cool.
When armor (physical damage model) is implemented the size 5 could be a deciding factor in a fight. As size will mater more than just alpha damage and range. But we could still be years away from that🙄
Heh, I impulse bought the Qi on a whim cause, fuck this, I too want a TIE Interceptor in my fleet. Which then prompted me to CCU my Zeus MR to a Scorpius. Cause who doesn't want a TIE Interceptor vs X-Wing fight, lol. Reason I took the Qi is that I can always turn off the QED when I don't need it, and the remaining tiny flight performance differences aren't enough to not get the QED version. And if I am in a situation where a QED is useful, like PVP involving bigger slower ships, then I can just swap out the M7As for ballistics and then shred their engineering section until they can no longer run.
Same logic I went with. I'll take a small hit to speed and maneuvering vs the standard to have the extra option for dampening, which affects not only QT but also affects NAV mode (which is a form of quantum). You might not catch fighters in the same way the standard might (not by a huge margin imo) but your target is going to have a hard time getting away without the speed boost of NAV, forcing them to stay in a fight that might not be favorable for them. Missile racks can also be swapped so you can grab the same loadout as standard. Plus the "breathing spine" when the dampener is on looks so damn cool. Not to mention you can activate the dampener as the pilot while ships like Antares I believe needs the copilot to activate it.

I kinda wanna get this shit this sounds perfect from my play style because I like to do solo bounty hunting. It’s my favorite activity in the game and I can see the shit being my daily driver, but the biggest downside for me is that size 1 power plant. And in your opinion, would it be better just to get the standard version of the ship instead of the QY cause it sounds like the jammer will be useless
can you fit a Pulse inside the Guardian?
If you try hard enough: no
if they made a medical guardian do you think it would be called the guardian angel?
what kind of shielding does the warden have versus the Guardian?
warden has 2 size 2 shields. also 2 size 2 coolers and 2 size 2 powerplants. so basicly double everything.
You are the best man. I search on TH-cam and find nothing interesting, but then I look for ur channel as a last ditch and as always: You don't disappoint.
Can anyone walk up to the external storage and open it?
I remember when it was a bug and not a feature to have an exit rare. The only way out was to eject. 😂
But does it fit in the 890 Hangar
Yes, a tight fit but fit it does perfectly.
4.0 is not released, they released a live ptu😂
No, it is not ptu. Progress will be save when 3.24.3 gets taken out. So it is just a parallel live version
@@MI1GUEL23 preview version and and incomplete
@MI1GUEL23 then why not just replace the 3.24 instead. What purpose does the 3.24 have now, nobody wants to play that anymore since it all will be deleted on the 3.24.
@@Durion7people are still doing the staton missions. Plus, in case 4.0 goes down, they still have 3.24 to fall back on.
@Durion7
Well if 4.0 runs into problems because more people on the server etc, people can fall back to 3.24 for the holidays.
0:40 "A GREAT SUCCESS!" (Borat voice)😒
CIg couldn't even deliver the 4.0 this year (among other things they stated in Citizen Conned 2953) and they're already pushing this ship.
They have released 4.0
its a good looking ship, but after fighting in mid sized fighters getting a heavy one feels sluggish and not as fun.
Concierge = 'kon' - 'see' - 'urge'. Love your videos, Foxyloxy, such amazing efforts.
I thought the QI only had 1 x S5 weapon?
Nope, leak was wrong. The only price you pay for the quantum dampener (other than $$$) is a bit of speed and agility, and default missile layout that you can replace. I expect most are going to buy the QI variant because why not.
@@fnunez And the QI variant is a bit more expensive.
@@vonrosphe3098 Right, that's why I said other than $$$. Still, it's only a 4% ($10) difference.
@@fnunez Oh right. Maybe i haven't read your commentar closely enough.
And you need 3 more energy Pips for the Qi and the ship already has not enough Power for all Systems.
The Qi is also only useful in Pvp or am I wrong?
my f8c is in danger
Thanks for the vid, not really sure it's worth getting.
eck the Stats as they ar of no consequence, the aestetics are the main focus, i'll get both, 2 paints are awesome and complimentary, the RED.....abit girly. So, Buy as an Indulgence, not on STATS, stats are open to REBALANCING, aestetics and the intended ROLE dont change. Be cool, not uncool.
Don't worry. They will nerf the Guardian into the retconned Star Wars universe.
if you're new don't buy star citizen, it's a griefers paradise.
the missiles look really stupid on the inside of those arms. Why on earth would they design it like that. So when missiles launch they explode on your own ship before they head off to the target..
thanks for keeping everything so professional bro, ty for all you do my guy
"N"-"Trunce" - Entrance. Your vids bring great "Interest" from those fascinated with this verse. Your enthusiasm is felt.
The maneuverability numbers are not very good.
Year 2954 ships max speed in atmosphere is like 213 m/s.
Jump into the future!!!
Year 2024 boeing 747 250 m/s
xD lolololol
Needs 2nd shield, and should have had a pulse bay, missed opportunity by cig.. ill keep my vanguard.. what u gonna do about thr bunker turrets?? Boom your dead
no proper VTOL engine placement, very sad
Doesn't need it honestly. It's main engines use Xian tech and rotate, allowing it to be it's own VTOL. Plus it has some great thrusters on it's wings too.
@@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4 "It's main engines use Xian tech and rotate"
please, I know the lore. My concern is about the placement of the engines. They can be as strong and efficient and agile as you want, with that placement you will make a flip. Or more like, would make a flip if the thrust vector were actually placed where the engine is in the design. Same goes for the Cutlass and all Crusader ships with VTOL engines built into their wingtips.
Yes, it is a game, and a wooden cube can go faster than light if the devs want it so. But this is about believability and not everyone failed their physics class.
Please CIG, make a great green paint for the Guardian. Like a Ghoulish one or St patrick's one or something!
Or green, red and white! (Chrismast)
Pleaseeeeee!
牛逼
Oww, my wallet.
Ive 3 Polaris.......loose change!

Uuuuuuuh! More ships we can't fly! 😍😍

"Live" my ass. It's just rebranded PTU
Wake me when this scam is out of alpha
Why are you here, in a SC update video, wasting your time when you obviously don't like the game?
