I've seen games where good tanks are super crippled for damage- guess what, the tank shortage there is insane. maybe 1 tank per 250 dps, damage dealers dont even bother a dungeon queue without help, since it would take hours to pop if lucky. its a good rule of thumb for every MMO that uses a trinity system that tanks and healers should be capable of roughly 40-60% dps damage while performing their main role in a fight.

When he said “they pvp for glam” I felt that. I grinded PVP for a long time to get glam pieces and mounts. Any glam player who doesn’t also coordinate a mount with their glam needs to step their mf game up.

The weird thing about getting into the glam game is that the want to look good itself was the thing that pushes you to want to parse better. Not that I can do everything described of the glam gods, but I care deeply about doing them. And now, to wean myself off the reliance on the Dalmascan divine cleavage as a crutch on way too many outfits.
I had minimal intrest in running the Ivalice raid series outside of seeing what it was like because Tactics is one of my all time favorite FF games, but when I learned that Agrias' outfit dropped from Orbonne Monastery + the Ramza minion I ran it almost with a religeous fervor to get them.
@@jovenc4508 the hilarious thing about the top I was talking about is that it has got nothing to do with Agrias or running dungeons, unless you count Norvrandtian treasure dungeons as such.

As someone who tries to change the precognition of mentors, pretty accurate. You forgot to mention about mentor roulette, just wait for a mentor to get into a extreme synced. That is a true clown fiesta.
I don't see the problem, that's the point of mentorship after all. I only do mentor roulette on days when I know I have the time to do so, and then I WILL drag those 7 newbies through 🤭 Most common ones are Titan Ex, Shiva Ex, Ramuh Ex, Ultima and Odin. The only thing that drives me up the walls internally is the other tank being unreceptive to ANYTHING. At least be a LITTLE bit cooperative, doing all tank swaps on my own through strategic aggro drops, tankstance on/off, shirk, provoke and praying...is just really stressful on top of everything else >_>

here's how you climb to the highest level in this Hierarchy system: You learn your class while you are a sprout so you are allowed to do misstakes, and then when you evolve from sprout to not a sprout, you no longer do misstakes.! success! and the reason for this is people are more willing to help people who they underestimate, they are more willing to share secrets with you, if they think that secrets won't sit with you. A healer is a green DPS, their main job is to keep the group alive, but that main job isn't happening all the time, so in between those times a healer should be dpsing. I Don't main healer (I main Sam), but I play it enough to know to dps. It is a teethgrinder of mine when healers don't dps, but often times they just didn't know that was expected and try to work it in. ^^
@@dominickbrock9849 Yeah I tell people new to the role not to worry about dps until they can keep people alive, but once they can they should be working on their dps too. The whole idea that Tanks and Healers should be doing a single narrowly defined thing and nothing else is toxic to gaming, and leads to less fun for everyone.

Fear us as much as we fear the unknown 80 bis marketboard
once upon a time it was simply known as the optimized rotation
Probably also the kind of player that runs macros on full rotations for out-of-dungeon trashmobs. Why push 7 buttons when you can push one, lean back and enjoy a youtube video. Sure it's not optimized due to cooldowns, but eh, it's just trashmobs.
@@Zidakuh As a free trial fiend myself, I fail to see the use case for this. Outside of Azys Lla and the Hinterlands, out-of-dungeon trash dies in 1-2 button presses anyway. Even if you level sync for FATE farming, the inconsistency of your level makes it pretty annoying to design a macro.

One of them doesn't seem to have a life outside of the game because you can pop into the novice network chat at just about any time of day/night going "hey I have a question" and he'll like, pop out of the void to help you.

A lot of people buy store costumes just for one leg or chestpiece.
A lot of people just hate on anything revealing tho, but not everyone wants to play as a super wide beefy dudebro.

here's how you climb to the highest level in this Hierarchy system: You learn your class while you are a sprout so you are allowed to do misstakes, and then when you evolve from sprout to not a sprout, you no longer do misstakes.! success! and the reason for this is people are more willing to help people who they underestimate, they are more willing to share secrets with you, if they think that secrets won't sit with you. So if you see 2 people kissing in lisa lomisa, they will ignore you because you are a sprout, but if you are not a sprout you are automatically a creep.
