My best football analyser just i want to tell you that when I watch your videos i feel that i can understand every movement during the match but if i try to analyse any match i can't so can you give the basics to analyse or if there is a tactical book i can read it to help me
So happy this helps and I understand the frustration when you try. When I watch a game at full speed I don’t see everything either, for example a lot of my analysis are me going in blind and analysing the clips there and then, I didn’t watch the game before hand and think, I need to point out, this, this and this ect. My eye is great now but you have to watch the clip multiple times, pause it, ask questions constantly. The more you do it you see the patterns unfold. I’m self taught and have never taken any analysis certificate or any tactic books. Of course I played so this is a big chunk of knowledge there

Great video analysis, but I find myself a little stumped as defender when looking at these, how is a defender supposed to handle such a situation what could a defender do better? Would love to see a video on that

currently he is looking at dribbling iq but I belive he said in an earlier vid that he will make a section on defending iq
Usually defenders with pace or strength rely on giving the outside for free to a skilled player and preparing their footwork to run at the line when said player takes that dribble. Kinda like Van Djik was doing in that season were he was unbeaten on 1v1s. there's also the technique for defenders to have their body at 45 degrees when facing a dribbler.
Just dropped a Calafioir video for on the ball, in regards to defending the more you learn dribbling theory the better. I was surprised that a lot of people who purchase the dribbling courses are actually defenders ! The more you know the more you know how to stop them and make it as hard as possible

@@chasingmypotential well prior to this my main problem was scanning before the dribble I was unable to get enough information to know the defender type sometimes I would think it,s a jockeying defender waiting to pounce and the moment in turned i would immediately pressed but yesterday (last training session I did after watching the video) I was abel to take distance from my man to atleast realise what type of defender they are and how to deal with them

@@chasingmypotential mostly dribbling iq and making the defender go to your pace and dictating their body positioning.
Well thats, for me personally Nico woul be very good at wing because of his pace and his flare whereas for the compact areas of the pitch like the centre , Jamal would be phenomenal.
