Very nice! Same as I do it for years. Only problem I have is the slight controller lag from the converter. It’s only 1 or 2 frames so it’s easy to get the hang after awhile. I’m sure some ppl probably don’t even notice it. Great vid!
@Billyvids_ Question: Can I just plug the HDMI cable into my laptop instead of the TV? If not, is there a way to play my Gamecube games on my laptop without the TV involved in the setup?

If im older and get my own house and can get a girlfriend i might rebuy the n64 and replay all of my old childhood games i loved as a child and show my grandma Kim and friends the games and then if i feel like it i'll get either a Elgato Capture Card or a Dazzle Capture Card and record let's play videos on my own channel i might upload a few other videos for fun then make a few walkthroughs then start let's plays.
Elgato's newer 4K software is trash, I've tried everything and it won't capture. I need to try and find the older software you're using, supported or not.

I was wondering if a tv is necessary for this to work. For example, if my PC monitor has an option for HDMI, can I just use that? Also, I was so focused on asking the question, that it took me until you actually entered the castle to realized you'd NAILED Lakitu Skip. Good on ya 😁👍

Not with this software, but in cases like editing afterwards, Premiere Pro or Sony Vegas should do the trick.

I’m not particularly sure on that, if you have a minister however, that should work fine

I brought av2hdmi and my nintendo 64 screen is very bright 🙁 how can I fix that
I would try to turn down the TV brightness along with the Elgato colour settings.

That's all the AV Cords plug into, then continue with the process in the video.

if that's the case, you'll have to buy some off amazon, i think they're around £3

The other side of the av cord is connected to the n64. That same cord, the jacks go into the adapter
remember that these old consoles are NOT in widescreen so set your tv or the video software to 4:3 for the best experience :)

It depends how bad your computer is: if it’s quite old, expect some frames drops and lag, but if you tone down some settings, then it may be better
