If you're going against a heavy dive comp, you can place one clone to increase your dmage/healing output, and then place the second one on the other side of a wall where you're playing. The second clone is used purely as an escape. As you get to higher elos then people will see where you're looking when you swap and hunt you down. I find going invis after swapping to my safe clone guarentees that you make a safe escape and then you can set up in a different part of the map to mix up the divers. Hope this strategy helps!
fun little tip! You don't need to be looking at a clone to teleport to it. It'll of course prioritize the one closest to you or in your vision. But if you go invisible at the start of the match in spawn, run into the enemies and then hit your teleport key you'll end up directly back in spawn. Not always useful, but it's good management for knowing all loki tools available to you.
Or put it somewhere on high ground so you can swap to safety up there and it can still do damage. His damage/healing is craziest with two clones. Also each clone lasts for 60 seconds if it survives the whole duration and each cooldown for a clone is ten seconds with a maximum of two. Each swao cooldown is 15 seconds and the invisibility cooldown is also 15 seconds. All stats can be found on the Marvel Rivals website.
One thing I never see people mention is that invis heals you over time, making it even better as an escape option. Good video, just wanted to throw that out.
Tried out Loki last night and it's honestly insane how much potential the character has, gotta be one of the highest skill ceilings in the game. Might have to make him my main, he's just so fun
I would like to add that when you use your invi, you also get passive heal, and the Regen Domain makes you invulnerable (since its passive heals 100% of the dmg taken) regarding the “escape-combo” preferably i like more dropping the Regen Domain, > switch to whatever clone > use Invisibility (once the Regen Domain is active, you are invulnerable, therfore, if the accidently spray your invi, it will not be deactivated.)
9:05 I think it's important to mention while Loki is in his invisible mode, HE CAN STILL GET HIT which will deactivate his invisible mode immediately. I tested this out! Be careful using it if you're in the middle of a chaotic battle and/or clear line of sight and need to get away.
Loki ult timer in the cloned body always resets the timer. What I usually do is clone someone (great supports like Luna Snow or C&D, DPS like Bucky or Punisher, tanks like Magneto or Peni) with a great AoE or utility ult, spam their abilities in the way I need them, and immediately ult in their form around 2-3 secs left on timer. It's super strong for characters like Bucky or Punisher but don't sleep on the options outside of DPS. In my mind, a great Loki adapts.
Yep, just found this out last night. However, the additional time changes depending on the copied ult. Like if you wait til the last second to do a "one-shot ult" like Ironman's, it only gives you +7secs vs a "transformation ult" like Hela or Star Lord which will give you +15secs
4:12 by the way, for the healing circle, I don’t think you mentioned this but it’s a REALLY good anti-melee character counter, and also counters a lot of ultimates that have a lot of hits and don’t just one shot you. Since it also heals for a % of damage dealt to you and your allies, you can straight up tank some characters’ ultimates if you have more than one rune stacked on top of yourself. It easily handles problems that many other healers struggle against such as Spider-Man, Psylocke, Iron Fist, Black Panther, etc. You just need to fight the instinct to run away, because in this situation, standing your ground on the healing runes and fighting back will always let you win.
Something I don't see in a lot of these videos is the fact that you heal during your invisibility which is very good to know especially if you are solo healing other then that great guide man!
In higher elo games the standing still mechanic doesn’t work the best since good Hera’s will 2 shot your clones standing still. Was utilizing it until Plat 2 though. You can use your clones in a mini line to block shots from straight DPS as needed and space out vs AOE. A good mind game to play is to either fake your swap to a new clone or actually swap into your new clone then go invisible immediately. Better players will watch when you turn away and track to see if there is a Loki over there and chase those ones down. Also for new players your clones health bars show up on the bottom left. I think Loki pairs best as 2nd healer with Cloak, Mantis, or Luna Snow. Also loves playing with Dr Strange as your tank
Placing Clones as Body-Blocks is something I haven't seen a lot of. Whenever I see a Punisher turret, I always put a clone directly in front to absorb damage. This mitigates so much.
Really good guide :). I think it is very fitting how people underestimate loki as a strategist in the game when he just dumps on you while confusing you.
Holy shi- the clone ambush with backstab tech was kind of eye opening. Probably really hard to do in actual game but just the concept and possibility is itself amazing
This is some great content man, hope you continue. You should drop some gameplay of you playing Loki to show what you talked about. Maybe live commentary? Dunno but great video man
Be careful about standing still when there's Hawkeye or Black Window on the other team. It quick and easy for them to headshot a still target and get rid of you or one of your clones.
I think guide should be done in the battle instead of training area to show the heroes full potential but just my opinion, great job on the guide, really informative!!

The biggest giveaways are that Loki’s dupes unlike Loki himself can’t be pinged by the opponent and don’t have a reload animation on his primary fire, also when created they have 250 hp even if Loki had far less. (This is especially obvious when you turn invisible while being targeted) But in the heat of the battle if your change between the clones it gets confusing
stop saying 3 clones. like, I know what you mean but loki can only have 2 clones active, max. if you summon a third clone the first clone you summoned will disappear.
First few facts are incorrect. Invisibility lasts forever unless the enemy team does sthm to you, and the “grenade” bullets are splash damage but you really should mention they do less damage the farther away from the enemy.
First real guide that isn’t some dude yapping about what the moves do, thanks
Fr, should do more for other heros like this
I second that
Literally this. The "ultimate guide" I found at the top of the search is just a guy reading the in game overview.
This is so unberable. 95% of MR videos are people reading abilities.
what? he does that at the start ... he explains what right click does .............

I’d argue he needs the same level of big brain that Dr. Strange needs to be good with portals.
that clone placement behind and knife left click knife is genius lol
Is that how you get that backstab achievement with Loki? His knife?
@@unclezero7639yes, its his passive, he does extra melee damage when behind an enemy

I havent seen anyone say his runes save you from ults also. Eats scarlets ult for breakfast.
His runes would do nothing to Scarlet Witch's ult. She does 750 damage all at once

This is the best guide I’ve ever seen. Genius Bucky tech too.
By far the best Loki guide

Jesus ive been using those shots like basic arrows. THEY SPLASH though small. Still helps. Thanks for this, now I can up my game
As someone who went from Hawkeye to Loki, I've had this EXACT problem lol, knowing they're more like grenades helps IMMENSELY
Wow this was an amazing guide thank you. I'll definitely be putting these tips into practice.
Subscribed! Thank you, cuz I'm getting wrecked by Spider-Man like 80% of the times I play Loki xD

Thank you Phil Jackson for teaching me the triangle Loki formation 🙏
Great guide you have earned a sub from me and this is the first video of yours I've seen.

so that was a fucking lie. great guide though.

The Loki main clips will be funny and insane af🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome guide. Learned a lot
Another excellent video. Keep up the advanced tech!
They can see the rings around Loki when swapping clones. The ring will only show around the real Loki. Just a tip
What rings?
There is like this green line that circles around Loki when he teleports
If you have three clones down you get 210 heals per second in an AOE, its so good
Nice vid. Gonna give loki a try tomorrow. Thx 4 the tips.
Excellent guide. Just picked up Loki yesterday.
Do you stream at all? I’d love to watch some of your full matches.
Good video man! Thank you for sharing the tech!
I was so confused every time I went against a Loki, I thought only the real Loki could deal damage and the rest just shot fake projectiles
As a shaco main I'm liking what I see
Great guide!
My question is if the clones reload when I do. That might be the only tell when pretending to be a clone.
best guide
Excellent guide. Doesn’t Loki shoot slightly before his decoys?
you are so useful omfg
This the level of gameplyim trying g to get at with him. He's so fun to play with
thank you for this!
Do enemies see the fingersnap animation?
How do i see lokis having over 3 lokis at once? Thanks for the vid
Please make the hour oong tech video please 🙏
Yeah standing still only works in bronze lobbies fyi
