So basically what you're saying is, a burner with an adjustable regulator is a hot pressure while the one with fixed non-adjustable regulator is a low pressure system. Am I right?

What regulator would you recommend for a crawfish burner. 0-30 or 0-40 PSI.

Typically if you are frying you'll want to have a higher PSI to your burner output and lower is acceptable if you are doing something like a low country/seafood boil. Is there such a thing as a burner that can run low pressure off a tank to use a griddle, pan, soup pot but also have high pressure for using a wok? Would love to find one.
Thanks for your question Luke! All of the Carolina Cooker branded burners we carry are made for specifically for either low or high-pressure regulators. There isn't a specific burner that we know of that is rated for both and interchangeable like what you're requesting. don't know if Carolina cooker knows it but their manuals don't really make it that obvious which regulator to use ironically , hence Im here watching this video

can I use a low pressure regulator on a high pressure gas burner?
Hi Steven - Thanks for your question.
Unfortunately on a high pressure outdoor appliance such as a cast iron burner, this would require a high pressure regulator as well because they need more volumes of gas in order to maintain heat & therefore flame. We recommend checking your user's manual on any outdoor fryer or cooker prior to use just to be safe. While you might be able to hook-up a low pressure regulator, it's not a good idea because it will take much longer for the burner to work and could pose a safety risk with the connections. You never said the psi for the high pressure burner.
