Thanks for taking us through the effort. I just paid for my GM adapter but feel like it will work. We all have a lot to learn about this charging drill. I had to get the dealer salesman to meet me at a public charger when I first got my EquiEV.
@@DavidBelitsky No problem! Thanks for watching. It's actually fairly easy to get going. Just make sure to set everything up through the myChevrolet app
how much did your electric bill go up, I got the same car you have a few months ago, and my went up $65 with PSEG, I do like the car but I did not realize it would go up so much for me, I thought changing at home is the cheapest way to charge and I have a level 2 home ???
@@JosephMichael-ci4ud So far, my bill has gone down maybe $12 or so, but I haven't had the car a full billing cycle just yet. We'll see on the next bill if there's any changes.
@Big_Raf_TV I have a Cadillac Lyriq and I activate my tesla session via the tesla app....Hmmm interesting that you can do yours via the MyCheverolet app
@@goldwing20091 Thanks for subscribing! If I remember correctly, Tesla superchargers are plug and charge. You'd just have to use your car display and turn on the charge automatically feature, and you should be good. Other charge stations, non Tesla, use Credit cards, so even easier in that case.
@@s0nic0nslaught See when I was at the mall and I plugged into one of the Shell chargers, it started charging instantly. No buttons or extra app connections needed. I feel like this is an extra step to connect to the Tesla Charger.

Check with your local utility for the off peak rates. Here in Georgia it’s from 11 pm to 7 am. Our rate during this time is about 2 cents per kWh.
$65 a month vs what were you doing before??
Activate the charging session via the Tesla app
@@nycplayboy78 I just needed to activate it from the Mychevrolet App. 👍🏿

No, no you are not goofy. This shit should charge when connected. GM still doesn't have it together.

@@Big_Raf_TV It is an extra step to charge at the supercharger network. It is better to simply charge via the Tesla app boom easy done...
