You got the most amazing cutest smile ever thank love your cute laugh too also Britt. Thank you for sharing your video with us as always your always so awesome on it thank you Britt.🌹❤️❤️❤️👍
As I have seen many others say, the live performance is what you need to watch. You get it all from Bo, he is beyond just a standup act, he is a stage performer. Everything he does on that stage is related to the song, even if it goes over our heads. I've been a fan of Bo's for over 10 years and I'm still catching new things from time to time when I go back and watch/listen
The left brain right brain stuff is largely a myth, but the truth is WAY cooler lol Hidden Brain podcast has a really good episode on it called One Head, Two Brains. Highly recommend :)
It's absolutely worth watching the live performance of this piece from Bo's special. The songs always work, because he's brilliant, but the care he puts into crafting everything about his shows, from the music, to his performance/theatricality, down to the lighting effects and timing...it all makes for an even more affecting experience. Just look at "Can't Handle This (Kanye Rant)" as seen in the Make Happy special. If possible, always go live when you're watching Bo. 😊 That being said, great reaction, as always!
The left brain right brain thing is pretty much a myth. I'm pretty sure Professor Dave has a good video about it if you are actually interested. Great content by the way. I watch all your bo reactions.
This is one of those situations when the norm doesn't have a label. Most people are somewhere in the middle and so we only refer to the extremes as left/right brained.
So, most people have a dominant left or right, but everyone has degrees of both. I find myself to be pretty much in the middle. From experience and from the theory of left/right brain.. if you don't have a dominant side, then the two tend to compete more often then magically balance. People who are classified as not having a dominant side tend to have a harder time finding their place, rhythm, whatever.
Might as well add myself to the hundreds of comments saying to watch the actual live version lol. Awesome reaction though!!! I get why you went with this one, since it was made by someone else it was probably more appealing from a “not having to deal with copyright strikes” perspective lol. Loving the Bo reactions! Keep ‘em comin! Cheers
I'm sorry... but fanart videos of comedy bits are the worst, lol. As an artist, I appreciate what they're trying to contribute... I really do. But I've never seen one that actually improved anything in the original joke/sketch/whatever. A lot of people think Stand Up comedy is just about the words but, especially with bits like this, body language is *so* important.
Steve Martin's comedy is very much fitting for the right brain idea. Very silly, physical comedy. I would suspect that Steve Martin was a big inspiration for Jim Carrey, for example. He did a number of very silly, very physical comedy movies back in the day.
idk how you found this but i dont think it does the live performance justice, the way bo plays both the left brain and right brain in real time is amazing
Ugh not someone's animation of it. His live performance from his comedy special is top notch. Also, comedians bring a visual aspect to their comedy with facial expressions and body language. Watching someone's drawing/interpretation of Bo's performance is just not the way to go. Another comment said it perfectly, you've done yourself a disservice by not watching Bo's actual performance.
You should really watch the original. The visual has more of an impact as he's acting them both out. It's also spoken quite differently than this... not sure if it was his animation, or someone just found an alternate recording I've never heard before...
Great reaction I recommend you this video from the band that inspired Metallica to form in 1981 this band formed in 1976 and Metallica has covered many of their songs. Diamond Head - The Coffin Train animated version not the studio check the lyrics gave me goosebumps they get along with the video and the world today you will enjoy it.
There’s really no such thing as ‘left and right brain’. It’s a myth that one side of the brain specifically handles one thing. But, to answer your question, I think everyone has both, but generally rely on one more than the other.

Watch the live version. You will understand more

Definitely watch the live version. It’s so much better.
I will keep it in mind, thanks!

I was looking forward to see you react to this and you reacted to a fan made video instead of the actual performance 😥

THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE

Hilariously serious is how I describe Bo Burnham.
The Live version is worlds better
Can we get a redo?
Another Bo Burnham song I think you’d enjoy would be “Problematic”. Has a great combination of comedy and message.
I will keep it in mind, thanks!
I love the Star Wars quote at the end :D
YES! More Bo yo!
Glad you enjoyed it!

1:08 The left brain/right brain thing is a myth.
Quit doubting yourself girl. People watch you for you. Ignore the haters, so what if you miss some obscure reference, people are just being petty.
Steve Martin was also born a poor black child in The Jerk.
why whatch this version? go whatch the live one
idk how you found this but i dont think it does the live performance justice, the way bo plays both the left brain and right brain in real time is amazing

Yep, always watch the live performance. I think everyone here is here for a reaction to the actual Bo, not a fan video.
Do Upchurch “tonight”. Not die tonight but “tonight”. Definitely my favorite song by him ever
Left vs right brain is a myth. We may personally believe we lean in one direction or the other but we and our brains use both always.
Bo is a true philosopher. also Steve Martin is a master of the Banjo.
yes!
Yes, Steve Martin can juggle.

I wish you reacted to words words words when you had your bo phase ):
Should have went with the live version this is terrible and doesn’t do it justice.
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me- Trey Pendley featuring Lexi Pendley
sadly you should of picked the live to react to, forget this animation stuff.
Is there anything worth taking seriously in life? This is a real question lol.
watch the live....
WTF
This animation ruined this whole thing wow
This version is so much worse than the live performance, which is literally once of Bo’s best as far as acting.
Meh, no live performance :(

Every generation of music, needs to make the the last 4 generation of listeners, gag! Then question your musical choices....

I will keep it in mind, thanks!
everybody has both sides of their brain it’s on a spectrum like autism. you’re not one or the other
