I sure hope you bought a Tundra and left that Ford and Dodge on the lots.
Nah, Toyota makes good trucks but not great trucks.
@YashPatel-tl3zi they are the best you will ever find, pre-2021 of course. Not the fanciest, just the longest lasting. Good luck with whatever you chose brother and thanks again for the 4 runner review. Oh, and you should have gotten that GX460 as well, for the same reasons. I own a 2023 GX460, 2021 Tundra, and a 2024 4runner and won't need a new car for decades.
@@michaellafrance6454 I actually was wanting a 2022 GX but finding a new one during that time was impossible. I would’ve had to order it in January and wait until May to take delivery which didn’t make sense at the time. I found this and got it. It actually recently was hit and caused a lot of damage. Going to trade out of it soon. Definitely not going American or Japanese. Just want something quicker and luxurious. I do love the 4Runner and will always have a special place in my heart for it. If I got a truck, I’d need one with an actual aftermarket like the F150. The Tundras are good but just don’t compete that well in my opinion. Going to be getting a German car soon anyways, so it doesn’t matter. Thanks for watching!
Did you plastidip the rear hatch “Runner” nameplate, or is that the Cartrimhome cover?
I used HyperDip on the front, sides, and back to convert the chrome to black. And for all of the badges I bought overlays from 4runnerlifestyle.com
I would note that I had issues with the “Limited” badges after I overlayed them. They kept popping back up so I just threw them out and left them chrome.
A shot for everytime he says dirty
Pull up, I’m down to play it with you.
@@YashPatel-tl3zi depends on what it is lol
I’m definitely with you on the dealership “mark ups”! More ppl need to b like us and not pay them and definitely the roll down back window is a HUGE plus, good luck with the truck!
Thanks! I’ve had it for two years now and I love it more than any car I’ve had before it. It’s definitely worth the money but I would definitely suggest people just get used instead of new.
@@YashPatel-tl3zi I agree with you on the used car hopefully the used car market will come back to normal where it financially beneficial to buy used, once again good luck and enjoy!
Beautiful car
How's the audio?
Pretty good. It has the JBL. Only the TRD Pro and Limiteds have that. I have no issues with it but I’ve heard better for $50K.
Mind if I borrow it?
well…
Did you say you get 8mpgs in city?
8-12 usually. Thats like very local and from idling. I also drive with my windows open local so I brings it down a bit.
@@YashPatel-tl3zi thanks for the quick response. I’ve been looking to buy but that MPG is significant. My tundra gets a little better than 13 in stop and go. I love the vehicle though and hate to miss out on a Japanese made vehicle.
@@bigdoba317 absolutely! If you are patient enough in searching, the next generation 4Runner is being unveiled on April 9th. It looks promising with better MPG too. MPG is important but most call it the reliability tax.
I heard that there are many stupid and bad guy in the US and this car doesnt have Gas cover latch to pull inorder to open the gas tank cover, i wish they could bring back that latch for safety cause as long as the car is on or open, any bad guy can open that gas tank and might put fire or water. i just dont know if you lock the door while youre inside, that gas door will be lock also, i hope so. if not, then all other safety things are of no value. any remedy to put lock on it?
The gas cap does not lock. It’s always unlocked even if the car is locked. I doubt anyone would do something because there are so many vehicles on the road. It’s possible maybe depending on where you live.
