- Fr. John Hollowell chose to offer to God every moment of his priestly ministry - to repair the damage done to victims of clerical sexual abuse. When Fr. Hollowell was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer, Fr. Hollowell humbly embraced the Cross, turning to Christ’s own suffering.
Thinking his earthly life was near its end, Fr. Hollowell made the pilgrimage to Lourdes, looking for a miracle cure at the famous Catholic shrine. As Fr. Hollowell journeyed to Lourdes and participated in the Lourdes bath, Fr. Hollowell discovered that his brain cancer had mysteriously disappeared. Now, this behind-the-scenes look reveals how Christ manifested His mercy in the life of Fr. Hollowell, demonstrating once again that God will not be outdone in generosity.

There iwere so many healing in my family but non I can boost of , they are all healing thru medical intervention. I know in my heart the Lord hand was there . I was an alter boy in our Lady of Loudes Church in Singapore . Your healing brought back memories of the feast day celebrations of 2 thousand people in the church compound in the 1980s . It is very important for lay people to support their catholic priests, most times we do not know the great difficulties, worries, troubles and heavy burdens that they carry for us and in their own lives. I have a brother who has worked with the poorest of the poor people in East Africa for over 40 years, building schools, and hospitals, finding water, help to show people how best to farm in several climate change with only the help of some very special people, most times he works on his own, on occasions he would tell us the loneliness of being a priest and how he had been challenged during his study to become a priest and later during his priesthood by the devil. Yes we should do our bit to understand and be a friend a shoulder to lean on to priests, sisters, and brothers as they are human too

Father John your love is sacrificial and touched my heart and soul,!
Recently I was inspired to pray for 2 priests and 1 bishop that I knew from my youth. The bishop had a number of accusations against priests in the diocese and had tried to cover them up. The priest that was chaplain at my high school seemed fine when I knew him but his estate was sued for historical abuse. (Unbeknownst to me when I started praying for him) Of another, I was told he had been living in sin,but I’m not aware of any actual evidence. Given my own bad experience with another priest when I was 20 or so, as a young nun who later left…I doubt I would have followed that inspiration but for those who have heroically offered their own prayers and suffering for Grace to once again circulate among God’s people. Offering with you Father, for the love of God to heal and triumph

Very true father ,it was in my own personal sufferings ,when the cross was the hardest that I truly had a meeting with Jesus and his unconditional live for me and that my suffering has the power to help others if I offer it up ( by the grace of God ,not my own will) for others who are suffering with no meaning to their suffering ,and for the conversion of sinners ,may God in his Goodness to guide ,bless and protect u a d fill u with his zeal to announce his saving love to all
