Dragunity came with master duel and has 0 summoning animations. Freaking king dragun, bet nobody knows what that is, has a summoning animation. I've been furious for this since launch and every animation update. Whats weird is they know the deck exist cause they banned like half the extra deck for the legacy event BUT NO SUMMONING ANIMATION So I feel you on being upset about your deck not having one. technically speaking, Marincess does have a summoning animation (specifically for Wonder Heart) unlike Dragunity, it's just a card the deck would never play and its irritating because they both released in the same selection pack and Konami chose to give it the summoning animation instead of Aqua Argonaut. honestly though it's pretty annoying in general when some cool cards or archetypes get completely looked over by Konami and get not even a single summoning animation especially when the deck has a fair amount of cards to its name like Dragunity.
Why didnt your opponents cards come back to the field after you summoned zealantis vs the tearlements? Is it because coral stops non-water monster from being summon and zealntis's effect counts as you special summoning?
I'm surprised how cheap of a deck it is and that I already had the 2 UR Marincess cards so I just straight up build the deck. So much fun I had a person negate me like 4 times and I still managed to make a board wtf lol although it's locked into water so it's actually kind of fair which I like

I play it because I like it, just extra body on field and sometimes pop an extra deck monster can be clutch, especially if your opponent doesn't respect it at all.
Because the deck always searches the trap card that regularly negates a monster on field, it's pretty consistent to summon. It's a win more card but since the deck is so consistent, it has the flex to do so. Plus more interruptions never hurt. It could win against decks that need their extra deck monster on field more than the main line can in some niche scenarios. Its actually a really good add

Probably as an extension, if a negated card (or monster) is on the field it's a free summon, SP from deck draw 2, SP from ED destroy it, from hand SP from your hand.
Coral anemones' restrictions cause the player can only SS water monsters. So when Zealantis effect resolves the player can only ss their monster and not opp since opp monsters aren't water.
Most Marincess lock you into only summoning water monsters for the turn. Since you're the one summoning monsters on your opponent's field when Zealantis resolves, it means you can only summon their water monsters
I built Marincess a while ago but never learned it to this level so while I keep it as good as it can be, I almost never play it lol. I got Zealantis in there and used it on my friend but tbh I don't use it too often. Sad to say I've been trying to learn Tear. If they aren't getting rid of it, it's either tear or anti tear and I honestly enjoy meta.
Question! How come when you summon back Zealantis, and only YOU get to summon the banished monsters, it said summon them back to their owners field, Tear should have done that. What Ruling Have I Missed!!!
@@kagemushashien8394 you use Coral Anenome first who has a lingering effect saying ONLY water monsters can be summoned, zealantis is technically resummoning so you just don't summon non-waters.
@@kagemushashien8394 Yeah, it's just too bad that Marincess really struggles to play through boards, and hasn't a very good board of its own. The best they can do is a towers that gets big, or a towers with a spell negate that only works on the opponents turn.
@@fuzzythoughts8020 Good enough for me, Albaz is not so hot where I'm at, it's mediocre, the Marincess Engine only needs about 20 cards, so, add 20 Hand traps and board beakers in a ratio so that your hand goes great First and Second. And Add Kaijus, specifically the water one, it's searchable with the trap Ice Barrier (not Ice Barrier arch), send it with Foolish Burial Goods, banish the trap with its effects to send one LVL 5 or higher water Mon to the GY, then add any water Mon to your hand. Kaijus are good board breakers, if you are running against a huge board, try Sphere mode.
You lock yourself into WATER monsters for the rest of the turn before summoning Zealantis. Marincess Blue Slug Link-1 or Link-2 Marincess Coral Anemone. I think there is one other card but I can't remember but yeah....Free banish all monsters on the field and only summon back yours hahahahha
Why play SS Iris over gamaciel, max c or generic water extenders is she actually good or for waifu reasons? Also I usually play 2 field spells for emergencies how are you faring with only one so far?
lots of people dont read our cards, so they ignore trap card - makes all monsters on our field tower, or our field (makes our big boss towers if we summon it throguh heart)
That just impossible, despia hard lock you into fusion only, and the Mud dragon synchro cannot substitude "Despia" Monster as Fusion material, it need to be spesific, and also I dont own Masquerade. So yeah

You probably know the answer by now, but it's because of Coral's WATER lock. You can also do the same thing with just Marincess Dive.

I doubt it will work tho. Because those two archetype almost literally locks you to either Fusion or Synchro summoning.

Mandarin could be good. Also, one copy of the trap is optimal I would say.
Mandarin special summons itself from the GY, so if you already have a sea horse in hand you send that with blue tang for free link summoning
