I am no expert...But if you are asking my opinion about how to get used to this or any bike that is bigger than what you are used to, may I suggest that you first take it where you can master slow speed maneuvers (large parking lots etc.) to get comfortable with how the bike feels at those speeds...I would hesitate to ride this thing at highway speeds right away. "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast." I would also suggest "rain mode" (road and sport are the other modes) which has a more gradual power curve when you throttle it. Other than that, keep riding and you'll eventually get used to the power and handling. Keep safe and thanks.
@@8Jericho8 Think I've got around $125 into both. Can't really notice either one, unless you look. Today I did my last mod for now. Hepco & Becker crash bars. Gotta stop somewhere?
@@andrewbecker3700 “gotta stop somewhere?” 😀I know, right? I did add a crash bar as well (went with GIVI) only because I want to add an off set amber fog light for that euro look and need something to attach the light bracket to…I’ll post it when it’s done
@@8Jericho8 Yeah, same here. The light kit I'm going with is actually made for enduro bikes. Thumper Jockey billet aluminum units, in black bullet style to match the turn signals. Very light and small yet plenty bright and super durable. Not cheap, I have them on my '21 yz450f and nothing else I've found looks as good or has anywhere near the quality. I've seen too many videos of people upgrading the stock headlamp bulb to little effect? This way its supplementing the factory lighting unit with 2 more L.E.D. units that can be pointed slightly different angles down the road for a much safer riding experience. Be safe and enjoy@
@@8Jericho8 smart man; Amber light or two is a life saver. I run Baja Designs squadron sports and cars usually wait instead of turning left in front now 👍
@@8Jericho8 That Bezel really finishes the front of the bike and should have been on there as standard equipment. The headlight just don't match the turn signals with the black bezel. Luckily I got my Machined Bezel free form the dealer where I purchased my bike. It is cold here also, I ride when ever possible. Would like to know how you get along with the seat bag. Happy Riding.
That’s one very good looking bike, that color!! Spectacular!!
Thanks!
I love this bike's look absolutely mesmerizing. The classic and retro look combination is dope 😁
Decat - don't wait.
Exhaust sound is nice
Awesome bite ..love those rims over my 19
Thanks 👍

Im on;y experienced with 200cc bikes. I gave this a test ride amd couldn’t go past 55miles/h speed. How do you suggest I get used to it?

Gotta get yourself a radiator screen and Exteda Fenda. It's cheap insurance.
The radiator screen is on the wish list. I've not thought about the extenda fenda option. Thanks

I like the Nelson Rigg bags on that bike. What size is it?
Hi, sorry for the late reply. It is:

Hi,
How did you remove those decibels killer from the OEM stock exhaust pipes?
Hi! I haven’t taken out my dB killers yet.
This guy has

Thanks for watching
In order for the Gremlin bell to work, it needs to be low to the ground. :D
😅this’ll be the third bike that the same bell has been on-same spot… 🤞’twas a gift from a coworker
Use a hair dryer to warm up the stickers and they will come off with ease.
Thanks for the tip! It did come off easily after some heat treatment.

That machined bezel that you referred to looks sharp, it’ll go on the wish list 👍

Congrats!! Does the stock exhaust pop on the overrun?
Thanks! I haven’t really noticed that… However, I’m still at break-in (less than 100miles) and haven’t really put it through its paces.
Nice bike... but id change the pipe if Im the owner of the bike.. too quiet
I may try to remove the dB killer (baffles) on the stock mufflers first… I’ll post the difference in sound if/when I do it.
