Here's a few channels you may want to consider: Neversink Farm - simple low input commercial farming Jill Winger the Homestead mentor - I have her cookbook and it's fantastic Dutch Farmer Moreno - another simple low input commercial farm Dong Jianyi - chinese style no input greenhouses Liziqi - give this one a chance. you will learn guaranteed. really pleasant to watch Georgy Kavkaz - this is more for fun. one of my favorite finds in a while You'll find the emphasis on my susscriptions is LOW or NO input techniques. One of the biggest things I've learned over the past year is to give non-english channels a chance. You can always use the cc button to get a translation. Most of them are more visual anyhow (no cc needed) and that's the best way to learn. Kinda like being a kid watching your dad use an important tool. Best of luck bud!
Ok, my comment would not post so posting again. I am so excited for you! My daughter just hit 5000 on her channel. I love to sub to good people and help them grow. Someday hubby and I may try our own. We are new to our small growing farm =)
Thank you for watching! No, we did not make the plucker. We bought the plucker and scalder as a bundle from featherman equipment. We paid about $3,500 for the two of them, which sounds like a lot, but we would be charged $4 per bird for someone else to process our birds, and we raised 900 last year, so we would have paid $3,900 in processing. We decided to do the processing ourselves, and we were able to pay for all of our equipment by the end of the season.
@@hdezoo Thanks. I plan to "retire" in the Philippines as soon as they open for travel, and raise chickens. I hope to raise 2,000 broilers the 1st year and increase by about 50% each year for the first 3-5 years. I'll need a LOT of equipment. But there, most retail will be sold live. Thanks for your help.
Where are you coming from in the world? You have a lot of features that look like my husband. He's adopted and much older. I was thinking you may be family. Giggling. Let me know.

We are between Cadillac and McBain MI. Our heritage, to my knowledge, is mostly Dutch.
