I remember being so scared for the third trial my first time watching. One, because I was already suspicious of Kanade. Two, Kanade is extremely smart and helpful during the trials so if she was the culprit I knew it was going to be elaborate and detailed which scared me. And three, I had a feeling that Hibiki was involved somehow and that made me fear for her safety and scared me the most. The game had been building up to this moment since the first investigation. There's a sense of satisfaction but also fear because you have a feeling that Kanade is going to snap eventually but you know it's not going to be pretty in the slightest. It's better than having her stay in the background, barely be involved in trials, be irrelevant for most of the game and then suddenly be revealed as psychotic in the third trial. Anyway, Sdra2's Chapter 3 is my favorite trial and Chapter of any Danganronpa game. Fanmade or not.

Obviously I don't excuse her actions, she's a monstrosity but love her as a character personally.

The most it gets out of people is a gasp of disgust and then people forget about it afterwards. On the other hand, Kanade's relationship with Hibiki is built up and explored throughout the game. You can see that there's something deep and darker going on behind the scenes. You can see that Kanade is clingy with Hibiki. In fact, she rarely interacts with anyone besides Hibiki outside of the trials. You also see how Hibiki clings to Kanade for emotional support when under stress. Their dynamic is interesting. It's like when one becomes timid, the other becomes confident. In the 3rd trial after all the build up, you see just how sick and demented Kanade really is underneath the facade. The fact that Kanade has been mentally torturing her sister for their entire life together is just awful. It hurts because Hibiki was starting to overcome her emotional trauma and make a real friend who cared about her. And that friend is taken away. Their parents must've not been any better. It seems they only care about talent. They ignored Hibiki's bullying towards Kanade as they were growing up but also didn't give Hibiki the attention and love she deserved which caused her to develop an inferiority complex and bully her sister because she was insecure about her talent.

Honestly if the voice acting was in Chapter 3 I would love to see Kanade’s voice have a demonic effect to it (Similarly to Celest’s voice in Abridged Thingy) when she does one of her nightmare faces. Speaking of which, someone should make a video where they try to imitate her voice during parts of Chapter 3’s trial, but every time she makes a nightmare face, her voice turns demonic to represent her inner demon.

Think about it, when Kanade loses her case, instead of lamenting or getting angry about it, she simply embraces the despair of the moment and accepts her fate in the most insane way possible. Very similar to Junko. Even the whole manipulating your own twin sister thing they have in common. **spoilers ahead, but no one seems to be hiding spoilers in this comment section so...** One of my favorite parts about SDRA2 is how many layers of evil are in the game. You have people like Hajime, Iorha and Emma, who are evil but sympathetic and redeemable. Then you have more moderate evils like Nikie and Syobai who are unrepentant and driven by hate and greed respectively. Then you have situational evils like Teruya in chapter 4. Then you have people like Kanade here, who is so evil that everyone in the cast, including Mikado the mastermind, has to take a step back and go "What the fuck!?" It's golden. And the best part is that none of these people are an Ultimate Despair. I like Ultimate Despairs quite a bit, but it is super refreshing to see evil doers that are not related to them. Additionally, you still have some (former) Ultimate Despairs in the cast for yet another layer of evil. It's just great.
I really don't get why people are surprised at Kanade being a psychopath, like...i knew something was off about her from the start, when she was in the trials, she was acting more rude and defensive, which basically foreshadows her true colors

It’s interesting how you can see the original idea behind Kanade and Hibiki. LINUJ was originally gonna have Kanade reveal that she always hated her sister before V3 released and he took inspiration from Chapter 3, and you can definitely see that in this trial. Saying things like “single-digit IQ like my sister”, “Hibiki… how about shutting the hell up while I’m talking?”, and “Always so useless, can’t do anything yourself, always relying on me to clean up your shit… you should know your place by now.”

At first, Kanade was just a cute little girl💖💖💖 And then in class trials, we got to know who she really was
**spoilers ahead, but no one seems to be hiding spoilers in this comment section so...**
One of my favorite parts about SDRA2 is how many layers of evil are in the game. You have people like Hajime, Iorha and Emma, who are evil but sympathetic and redeemable. Then you have more moderate evils like Nikie and Syobai who are unrepentant and driven by hate and greed respectively. Then you have situational evils like Teruya in chapter 4.
Then you have people like Kanade here, who is so evil that everyone in the cast, including Mikado the mastermind, has to take a step back and go "What the fuck!?"
It's golden. And the best part is that none of these people are an Ultimate Despair. I like Ultimate Despairs quite a bit, but it is super refreshing to see evil doers that are not related to them. Additionally, you still have some (former) Ultimate Despairs in the cast for yet another layer of evil. It's just great.

It’s interesting how you can see the original idea behind Kanade and Hibiki. LINUJ was originally gonna have Kanade reveal that she always hated her sister before V3 released and he took inspiration from Chapter 3, and you can definitely see that in this trial. Saying things like “single-digit IQ like my sister”, “Hibiki… how about shutting the hell up while I’m talking?”, and “Always so useless, can’t do anything yourself, always relying on me to clean up your shit… you should know your place by now.”
Wasn't the twins were always planned to be the killers of chapter 3? I wonder if the Hibiki mental manipulation was planned from the start or was adding after v3 came out.
