nice video :) certainly a competitive parkrun is 21 minutes is placing you at 25th! Ran my 14th parkrun yesterday and I'm loving it. squeezed into the sub 20s with 19:59 last month 😅 hoping to run sub 19 next year at a higher bodyweight :)
@@Antellathletic1903 fantastic work! I think sub 20 is a fantastic target and once you’ve hit it, even lower times come soon after as well, it’s a mental thing as well as physical! I’m with you, hoping for an 18 next year and maybe even 17 if the training goes well. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment, means a lot!
What a video! Thanks for sharing. Actually, I want to ask a question. I also want to join the running events, but when I run, my limit is 7 to 10 km at most, and I walk 20 minutes of the whole time because I'm getting tired. How long did it take you to train yourself to run 21 km? And when you go running, what's the most you can run? also Do you ever stop to walk because you are tired while running?
@@luniar5190 hey! It takes time to run that sort of distance, but just starting out and getting out there is a good start! There’s a great program called ‘couch to 5k’ which takes you through starting out and running the entire way. And from there, just slowly increase the time and distance you do. You’ll be surprised how quickly you improve! Most I’ve done is a marathon, one day I’ll do ultras and things but for now, 42k is more than enough!!! Thanks so much for watching!
@LightitUpSB I understand, I understand. So timing and discipline are key in training. I definitely won't be skipping Couch to 5k! thanks for your unique tip! 42k is a amazing distance, i wonder that if you have used Couch to 5k or similar programs during your training as well? if so, are you still using it in your training? what ratio of running and walking are you doing right now when you are running? thank you very much.
Great vid, love Tailgate even chevron
@peterrichardson5664 love chevron!
