The old "I felt lonely, unappreciated, and felt unseen." The thing is men in general ALWAYS feel lonely, appreciated and fell unseen. That's a normal state for most men. Yet the majority don't cheat.
I think that men today are too nice and ask too many questions, I am 40 years old and I have been married for 15 years and 19 years of relationship, if one day my wife had wanted or would want to go out all night without my presence and against my agreement, then the consequences would have been or will be simple.. she would not come home and she knows it. and people will be able to think of me whatever they want and call me controlling, insecure or even domineering or whatever bullshit we've seen appearing more and more since the 2020s. don't get me wrong my wife and I have a very good relationship and are very happy, apart from our work schedules we spend absolutely all our free time together and that's because she would never behave like that but she is aware that if one day she felt the need to behave like that, it would be better if we separated on good terms because otherwise I would leave her with nothing. If one day she decided to go to a party alone against my advice, I wouldn't ask myself any questions and I wouldn't torture my mind like the man in this story, our marriage would be over before she even closed the door behind her.
Congratulations on finding true love, it is reasonable for women to have their own relationships, however, when they have a family, acting like the woman in the story is inappropriate, in this case the fault is not only the woman's, but also the husband's for putting too much trust in his wife and letting her go! Sometimes men being too good is not good!
O p was a total square. He himself should've gone out right behind her instead of sitting home like a Mutt dog he shouldn't have been back for a few days with his phone off.
Excuses are just excuses, meaningless.
Yes, bro!

Women are evil, they are greedy and do not appreciate the love of men, right my dear friend?
