Do you happen to recall having any footage of any United States lines containers on trains? I know both SP and UP had trains just for them hard to find any footage or pictures. Love seeing that BNSF OCS noce mix of cars and 844! Hopefully they can get ptc installed so she can run next year for her 80th.
@WaltLoevyActionTrainVideos believe UP ran there train from 1985 - 1987 when USL went bankrupt. SP started running there's in the 70s till USL went bankrupt.

Yes. Those were good days for being a railfan, including seeing the 844.
Love it! I laid off that day from work when the big boy came through Palmer Lake, it was fun to watch.
There were so many people out that day. Made it hard to chase the steamer.

What years did United States Lines operate? I have UP stack trains from 1986 to present.
