I watch these every month and have watched this one a few times. This is the first month I will be resetting with you as I watch that portion of the video. Never actually completed a full reset but doing it with you seems fun. Will see if I can actually become an organized adult at the age of 39 (just a few months until 40 😕)
I really do appreciate these monthly updates/reset routines. It makes me want to get back into being a bit more organized with what I spend and my own budgeting. Thank you for the video!
I am so excited you got to work with Disney! You are hitting it of the park and it's so nice to see a genuine journey. I think what makes you relatable at least for me is that you are inspiring and down to earth. A wonderful combination. Hoping your November goes well!
I totally agree with your views on work week vlogs. I'm not trying to get more work content after I clock out. However I do enjoy seeing work from home set ups and work from home routine occasionally to see if there is something I vibe with that I can implement into my own work from home day.
I would but both of our families watch my videos so that would give it away😂 I suck at gift guides but honestly I just shop and if I see something that makes me think of someone I'll get it for them! I think those are the most meaningful gifts!!
Congrats on 70K! I think you should celebrate American thanksgiving as well as Canadian to make your November better lol Thanksgiving is what gets me thru November
I'm gonna upset people here but I'm not a big Thanksgiving gal, not into the whole turkey and what not BUT I think I might celebrate it in my own way by having a date day with myself or something!
I love your videos so much! I just wanted to say that I am a full time college student and as one I just wanted to say that any amount of college classes, especially graduate, is stressful. You’re doing amazing! I would LOVE to see some more grad school content!
Thank you for this! One of the things I need to work on is being proud regardless of how many classes I'm taking! It's still an accomplishment no matter how slow/fast I do school!
SAME I find grocery shopping super calming so when I'm anxious or stressed I automatically pick perusing the grocery store and it's an expensive hobby LOL
I still need to do my November reset (we had our own wedding party at the weekend and I haven't managed to take the time yet 😅) and watching this video makes me prioritize it for this evening after work!!
Great job investing last month! I've been working on investing more into my dividend stocks and I was able to increase my dividend passive income. I'm currently renovating one of my rental properties for a new tenant. It sucks to have to pay for the renovations, but in the long term the extra income will be awesome to receive. I'm going to work on my reset routine for November very soon.
Hey girl maybe some how to prepare for the work week for exp. meal prep, or types of supplies, organize station how make different email mailbox folders you know things like I love how you preach being aesthetic in your terms not so strict about it cause I try & sometimes my kid doesn’t let me live my best life 😂 also I’ve been implementing “menu of the week” it actually help so much thank you for always sharing
I really don't do much to prep for new weeks- I truly view my weekends as relaxing/unwinding! We recently switched to a meal subscription box to help give me back some time which also has helped us not have to meal prep!
Can't relate to hating November...It's my birthday month & Thanksgiving in the U.S. ;) Plus in my state we have the teacher's convention and election day so we had so many days off when I was in school and as a teacher I still do. I love thats its still Fall without the spooky season stuff cause I'm more of an autumn and Christmas girly than Halloween. So November's the best month
Ok, I'm commenting again (sorry not sorry) but when you mentioned "financial season" my mind was blown! I'm someone who tends to stress over money, investing, etc and as someone who is also in her 20s, I feel so pressured to put a percentage of each paycheck to put towards investing. And taking a break from putting money towards it each month never registered with me, lol. So I definitely needed to hear that it's ok to NOT invest for a month or so and put that little extra bit towards something else.
Girl comment as much as you want!! Yes honestly the term "financial season" was a game changer for me. I get so overwhelmed trying to invest/save every month and knowing some months are to save, some to invest and some to just enjoy life gave me such a healthier mindset with money! I don't get as overwhelmed trying to do everything at once which is a game changer!!
@@CarterSullivan I love this idea. I've been budgeting with like heavier debt payoff, and then toward the end of the month charging stuff on impulse anyways and kind of ruining my progress lol. So I like the idea of those monthly commitments to different areas and may do the same thing.. kind of do minimum payments in Nov/Dec due to holiday stuff, and then switch to more debt payoff in January when its too cold to go out anyways!
November has always been a blah month for me too. I have seasonal depression too, it’s more related to the darkness than the cold, and November is generally a very dark month 😅. Also, November 1st is the anniversary of moving from France to the US, for me. I was twelve, and I was so devastated to leave my family behind (all my grandparents and cousins, etc). I was very homesick for a long time. So November 1st is always a bit of an uncomfortable day.
Yeah I’m over getting gifts too… cash is good though, always… also I’m bored with goal setting. I’m skipping it for November and December. Picking it back up for January
I asked for specific items that I wouldn’t splurge on for myself like getting a mobile car detailer to come clean my car, or for a yearly subscription for my audiobook subscription since I’m gonna definitely use it and it’s something I enjoy or a gift card to my nail salon
Hi Carter! I just posted a video following your reset routine on my channel. It was a hit! Thank you for sharing this with us. 💗 (I hope you don't mind I followed your outline; I gave you a shout out and a link and will continue to. I just hated to reorganize a reset routine in a different way when I thought yours was already so perfect! 💗💗💗)
I was so confused when you said you hate November. I was like "what do you have against Thanksgiving?" And it took me way to long to remember your Canadian and you have Thanksgiving in October. But when I did I was like "Yea okay, November is boring." 🤣 Love the video! And I hope you get to do something awesome in the next "free" month.
I just said on my monthly reset that I want to focus on daily gratitude next month ❤ . Hopeful that you can find the goodness in November 😂 even though it may be a blah month
Do you put your expenses on your budget in real-time (from receipts) or do you wait for it finish processing/post to your bank account? I am a mess with money and can never figure out what works for me.
I also love to go shopping for groceries and get my steps in but I always spend more money in random thing I have not tried =D But I love trying new things and I love shopping, need to go there and just look at things ;D Today I'm going again, need fresh bread for my kid and she loves the books section
I don't really have anything to say tbh- works great! I had the Apple Watch SE before and it's abit quicker/less laggy but overall it's just another Apple Watch!
Could you do a dedicated video to all the tax write offs an influencer can collect? I’m new to influencing and want to be able to write off as much as possible! 🎉
I always recommend speaking to an accountant as the write offs in Canada VS the US are very different! I can only speak for Canadian write-offs and you can get an idea of certain write offs by reading over the. T2125 form on the CRA website!
Hey!! Carter I really really enjoyed watching your November reset routine vlog so so much you inspired me so so much and I wish you reach 70K Subscribers very very soon!💫☺️💕
Honestly I had my own spreadsheet for the longest time but had no patience to learn how to do formulas/charts/make it pretty. I love supporting small shops on Etsy so I got this one and tweaked it! I love it because I'm a "big picture" gal and I couldn't really do that on my own spreadsheet but I also know so many people who use their own- just personal preference I guess!
I'll leave that to the experts! I would talk to a financial advisor! I don't feel comfortable talking in depth about investing, I just share what I do which is invest in a high risk TFSA and RSP!
I loooove working moms, so glad they got a new season
I love your new editing style! It is so cozy. A category you could add to your favorites are home essentials since you are updating your home.

Love the little subtitle fonts and tape sound so cute !

is the aero press better than a typical french press? looking into purchasing!

Nope usually do it on payday!! Or at the end of the month

Do I need to read the first book in the chestnut springs series to really understand the second?
Nope they are standalones although it wouldn't do you any harm to read the first! It would just help you understand the secondary characters betters!
