- This is one of the hardest lists I've ever put together! Leaving out great songs like Wing Ding and Big Top Bop was a difficult decision to make. I made this as a follow up to my top 5 stages in the game video, so check it out if you haven't seen it!

how do you even narrow it down to 10 songs??
every single song in this game is so expertly crafted, so unforgettable, so atmospheric, so distinctive. this is my favourite video game soundtrack of all time.

What an absolutely incredible soundtrack this game has! If I heard any one of these songs without actually playing the game, I would assume it was THE stand-out song of the game. But while, granted, I do agree these all deserve to be in this list, they're pretty much par for the course in this game.
Honestly I would love this game just for the brilliant level design, but it's the fantastic blend of that level design, the beautiful art design, and the wonderful soundtrack that brings it to a whole other level.

Me neither! Tropical Freeze's soundtrack is just incredible... possibly the best on the Wii U alongside Rayman Legends.
@@captaincortez4917 rayman legends has a pretty good soundtrack but I think the wii u OST that comes the closest to tropical freeze's quality is mario kart 8. but tropical freeze's is simply on another level.

Me personally, I think aquatic ambience is number 1. The main track that still pops up in the game all these years since DK country for SNES. Aged like fine wine and still manages to find its way into the games. It's the greatest.

Frosty Fruits is the only time the game lived up to the name Tropical Freeze XD
This is the best video game soundtrack of all time, no question. It would be impossible to list every song I love so I’ll just say the credits are my absolute favorite.
I've never played this game, but it seems one of the best thath I've ever seen! Amazing soundtrack, nice aesthetics ... there is life in everything you see!! I like so much the design of Busted bayou!!!
I don’t play many games.. just get bored easily.. this is one of the few I beat.. the music really makes it another level.. almost therapeutic

Man picking a number one song from this soundtrack is so tough, since there so many great songs. Although if I had to pick my favorite song, I would have to go with Big Top Bop’s theme. I’m a huge rock, metal fan
The Snowmad's Theme and Windmill Hills are my favorites from this game.

Title Theme has to be on my list, one of the best thematic executions of a game's main theme i can think of. It answers the question of "what would a tropical freeze sound like"? The little jingle feels tropical and cold at the same time. Genius and I can't get over it lol
My fav 5 are Windmill Hills, Irate Eight, Amiss Abyss, Current Capers and Scorch ‘n Torch
Edit: 4 months later and my fav 5 are Windmill Hills, Frosty Fruits, Irate Eight, Snowmad’s Theme, Amys Abyss.

aquaduct assault is my favorite
i never did finish Tropical freeze. Im only on World 3 still so i 'm just now hearing these awesome tracks!! Didn't know they remixed Aquatic Ambiance again or that David Wise was composing again! SMH. Make me wanna jump back in and play again

I have no desire to play these games, but i want them to make more just for more soundtracks. I've listened to this OST like 30 times. One of the best ever made.

My favorite in the game is twilight terror (before the rocket part). I just got this game and I think I can say this game is the greatest of all time when it comes to video game music.

There is definitely a lot of tracks in this game, and a lot of them are pretty basic, but as usual there are great tracks that I hope will stay in history like Stickerbrush Symphony or K-Rool Kakophony (or something like that)... My favourite is the Amiss Abyss, that I know by heart, but only now I'm paying attention to other masterpieces, like the Grasslands or the ones from the World 6...

you call ur self a real DONKEY KONGER? This is the most mediocre play I've ever seen. My father insisted that I was named donkey kong, but his mom wouldn't allow it, so he raised me on Donkey Kong instead. I love Donkey Kong. I was only allowed to watch donkey crystal coconuts as a child. My mom once bought me super mario world 3 for my birthday and my dad set down his punching juice and broke it in half then slapped my mom, then put in Donkey Kong country 3 into the snes like a real man of culture. Then he beat me for 3 hours for having not Donkey Kong on the TV. I would never be caught getting hit in the water levels in at home my family would disown me. At my Fifth birthday one of my """friends""" (not a true Konger) started talking trash on the Donkey Kong and saying that Zelda guy was better because he was a legend or something. My dad overheard and came in and put my friend in his place. He had to spend a week in the hospital, mom said dad had to go help the real Donkey Kongs in south America for the next 3 years. He even sent me letters from the Anchorage Correctional Complex (funny name for a place in south America) while he was assisting Donkey Kong and his friends. I can't believe you would upload something like this without knowing anything about the literature. I love Donkey Kong. And the

I'd pick Tropical Freeze over DKC1, DKC3 and Returns any day. Only DKC2 is better but only a tiny bit.
Your right it is different from the classic country games
Because these are the modern country games.
It’s not meant to play exactly as the classics.

DKC3 (didn’t like the gimmicks and platforming in a majority of the game, ripsaw rage was one of the few levels I enjoyed and the SNES soundtrack was underwhelming in a lot of areas to me, there were a few good tracks, though I preferred the gba soundtrack)
It was different unfortunately. I guess we can't get back the original atmosphere of the older games but this game on its own is still absolutely great. Not as difficult as the originals either unfortunately (except for the bonus levels that were made intentionally more difficult than they had any right to be so just that they could say "see, we have difficult levels too").
The level design was creative and very fitting with every other aspect of the game and better than the original trilogy (or every other platformer ever) in that aspect... but from the pure technical level design aspect, it was good but not as perfect as the original trilogy.
