That thing is awesome Kev. It's redefined the hobby. No longer do you have to go fast or bash a RC car for it to explode it does it first time you touch the throttle! Major timesaver. Makes Stemp a bit redundant though, replaced by a machine that destroys itself, sorry Stemp, you have been made obsolete! That's 2022 for ya!

Apart from what people think 3d printed parts are actually really strong, you just need to learn to use the material correctly: I have 3d printed rims, but every wall is thick between 5mm and 10mm, same for the Shocks arms. It's really sad for this car to fail like this, it looks like the damages wee caused by real silly errors. I would have made all those blue parts out of molded nylon, the motors mounts almost two times thicker, the chassis thicker, the body mounted traditionally with clips, the motors controlled by a flight controller (like fpv drones) and the wheels belted. It looks like a really good prototype tough, it just need some minor but vitally important modifications 😂😢

I tried adapters in the past on high power model applications, and I found that some of them got warm to hot and started to slightly melt and disform.
The more connectors in a high power system, the more power ends up wasted as heat, and doesn't make it to the drive motors.

What I'd love to see next is somebody come over to the UK to provide Kevin with a car with the issues resolved (at the very least the wheels need to be much stronger and the tyres should probably be foam or belted) then we need to see the can run properly without falling apart (unless perhaps it hits something).

Cool car & concept but was skeptic from the start. LOVE cantilever suspension like with the Traxxas Revo & Summit. Though when I saw how the wheels were connected to those out-runner motors, along with It breaking because of simple wheel expansion. I messaged the company about this. This was the response. Respectable in my opinion for the company to take responsibility.
It was our foul, for missing the test of the final car. We started the sales too early and we were in a delay about shipping. We take the responsibility for that as our early bird customers have taken the risk to buy from a new company a new kind of car. When they ordered the first cars we informed them that they get lifetime warranty for the car because of this risk.
Kevin's car was in the first batch of production, we get parts from three different suppliers and the rim failure we think was a low quality print. We will check when the car arrives from him.
The expanding tire situation: we didn't find belted tires only for our rims, that's why we used these tires. We should have tested them with 6 cell, but as I mentioned the final testtests were missed.
By the way we don't understand why he pulled full throttle for a three wheeled car. In the first case, there seemed to be some fundamental flaw in the car. After the remained wheels were explode, we think they hit the surrounding parts and caused so much damage.
Next week we will get our new wheels, we will test GRP factory wheels with belted tires and we made adjustments on the bottom plate, for more wheel clearance on cornering. Right now we think that these steps will solve the problems. On our prototype car the weaker quality printed parts lasted longer than these. But we didn't tested the car on three wheels...
We will publish our latest test asap and send the replacement parts for the customers.
