    Hi Grady. I'm new to your vlogs. In a previous video I watched you asked viewers for future video suggestions. I have one. I'm not sure if there are comparison videos of microcontrollers but it would be interesting to watch. Thanks.

    Please start making videos on VLSI concepts. Would be very helpful as it is a vast subject.

    Hi,
    I would realy love to see more tutorials. Are there any cheaper development boards to start with?

    • @SimplyEmbedded
      @SimplyEmbedded  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Akash, short answer "yes" - the one's I've mentioned can specifically used for FPGA and SoC programming; thus, they come out as more pricier. Although, I've been asking Real Digital when they will put their boards on amazon because their boards are cheaper (around $150 or so I believe) - the answer is soon (I don't have a date).
      Also, if you are interested to check out some of my FPGA programming tutorials and you can probably get a good used Xilinx FPGA development board on ebay for cheaper - www.ebay.com/bhp/xilinx-board (the reason why I'm suggesting Xilinx boards is because I'm using Xilinx's tools; otherwise, you are welcome to use any development board you like - in the long run I'll try to make starter tutorials for different software platforms).
      By following my fpga tutorials you can gain an understanding of the hardware and how it works before jumping straight into SoC programming.
      Anyways - let me know if you have any other questions, I'm more than happy to answer them. Oh, and thanks for making it to the end of this long reply - I wish I would have a "less complex" answer for you.

    So. a Soc is like a general computar that adresses an specific task as efficiently as possible, but it is not as powerfull as a general pupose computer?
