I'm struggling to see the logic in noxious revivaling for a toxic deluge when you're at 3 life.
Yeah that one was my bad. Didnt really math out in my head how much life everything would cost and I chunked myself too hard. Was basically just tunnel visioned on removing stuff cause I was super locked out of the game

That's why I name wizards when I play Zur, I always fid it to be better in the long run with cavern I find.
wheel into silence is probably the most hilarious thing I've seen in a long time. aven mindcensor and ranger captain of eos did so much this game

I love discard decks. They’re a lot of fun. One of my faves is Seizan preventer of truth. MTG Muddstah has it on sometimes

At 15:49, you shouldn't be able to activate that Rankle trigger yet. The card says "deals combat damage to a player" and not when declared as an attacker. Other than that, awesome game.
You should watch the TH-cam classic "chocolate rain". It provides a very important lesson for the narrator in the subtitles. Trust me.

I’ve seen necropotence kill a lot more players than I’ve seen win with it
With all the tutors Bill shot off I'm shocked he didn't just win. He had an Abrupt Decay he could have used on the Drannith, and then could have just tutored for Squee (I'm pretty sure he tutored for Necropotence instead)

This is a really great example of why you always, always, always name wizard with cavern of souls in Zur. Makes your commander, thassas, spell seeker, dark confidant, and a couple other relevant cards uncounterable

Nate needed to extort more than he did :P He missed a total of 17 extort triggers where he had 3 or more mana floating so even if he was holding counter magic he could have used 1-2 every time and been fine, honestly he had the win.

Why not lim duls in response to zurs trigger or vamp tutor for removal for the aven mindcensor. Joseph just went untouched til it was a 1v1 after 2 ppl killed themselves

Chulane is pronounced like “hullen” right? Not that I would correct anyone else, but I thought that was how it was pronounced and I like to know for myself.
You are correct, but so many people pronounce it as "Chew-layn". This caused confusion, so instead of explaining the pronunciation in every video he decided to pronounce it like everyone else. Can't win em all as they say.
The name seems to be based on the Irish mythological character Cuu Chulainn (a demigod character similar to Hercules or Adonis), and that name is pronounced “Coo Kullen” or “Coo Hullen”, depending on dialects.

@@troysteele3405 Not if he didn't have a way to draw. The Jace activation would draw him the Consultation, but then if he USED Consultation he'd still need a way to try to draw and actually win. If he did find Consultation, he was likely holding it in hand to cast on the end step before his turn.
I've never watched this channel before. After watching this video, this game was kind of shit. I see what you mean by casual, because if this was cEDH it would have ended a lot differently.
I really love this channel but, IDK if I never noticed it before or what but, the deep breaths from reading seem to be really common in this video and it is really distracting to me for some reason. maybe its my misophonia or something else, who knows.
That s the bad idea of playing go much combo with Zur and 0 auras efects

I didn't think you could cast your commander with dranith magistrate on the field, so chulane should never had been cast right
It only affects your opponents
