Dark/cold nights with snow, multiple story wood frames within feet of each other, tight narrow streets with cars parked. take all this add heavy thick chocking smoke and blowing fire.....not easy, not easy at all. Hats off to the BFD always getting it done, always.
Well, it wasn't disability that ended my operation. Cell phone cameras made free video and pictures available to stations which devalued my services. Running overnight was expensive. I frequently burned more than 1 tank of gas in a night. Stations buying less just would not have worked. Hence, the end.
I grew up on Marcella Street. I remember Nakiya. I'm looking for Patricia Johnson. Her Brothers are Robert and Clifford and the mothers name is Rose. They lived in the building attached to SMITTY'S which is the store that is burning. Please reply if you receive this message!
Patricia is the young girl in the doorway crying a few minutes into the video. I believe she is in the Doorway of a Woman named Debbie's house. Debbie and Sonny's house
I also had great friends involved in this fire. The Johnson family, Patricia, Robert and Clifford. I have been looking for them for years. Any info would be GREATLY APPRECIATED
It's snowing! Wow! Living in Southern California we face wild fires due to drought conditions or just dry times of the year. Then again turning several fire hoses on one of these blazes doesn't immediately put them out. So I guess it's kind of silly to think some snowflakes would stop a fire.
My oldest will be 29 years old this year and will mark 29 years in a few days since this fire.
God bless you
@@sostdm617thank you

Nobody does it better.
