Anyone know how to install it without losing all your sample packs, Like mine are all still registered to fl 20 and if I move my packs to the 21 file all my previous files won’t open

Props to Image Line for providing lifetime free updates. Not many companies do that nowadays and unfortunately most companies get away with greedily charging their customers for updates, or worse, subscription fees.

I'm a professional music producer and mixing engineer. I always mixed in FL, even with all the downsides, I trusted you guys that one day the game would change. Mostly because I would rather not learn how to mix in a new DAW. But I trusted you. Now, I can definitely say that THE GAME CHANGED. These new features make mixing WAY easier and faster. I'm blown away and can't wait to see what the future reserve for us. I'm so happy to see this new “Save as” dialog because I participated of it in the forum discussions and I ended up with the feeling that my voice was heard. Not only that, but the reason that I'm writing this is to say that I became a beat maker because of FL, next I became a music producer because of FL, now I'm a mixing engineer. I conquered my finical independence through your software! For me, music is everything, so thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to be constantly improving. I'll be with FL for the rest of my life. 🙏

Diehard Renoise (Tracker) user here. Let me say this, I’m 41. My first real foray into making beats was Fruity Loops 4. It taught me the fundamentals as a teen and although I never used it (Chose Reason for 15 years and then switched to Renoise) I did purchase FL this year based strictly off of nostalgia and the absolute pleasure it has been watching it grow to what it is today. The creation of the ability to keep the audio files folders together, alone is the biggest revolutionary step for my favorite program of all time. I have been saying for years, (not if, but) Once FL Studio creates a file management structure like and/or similar to some of the competing DAW's, "I feel" they will become more commonly used, and taught amongst all industry standards studios, professionals, and Audio Engineering Schooling. Thank you to the team, staff, and everyone at FL for staying true to your consumers. I've been with you since Fruit Loops 4 and you all have only improved. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.
I like the optimism but I doubt FL will every reach the industry standard rank. It's just too different from every other daw on the market. In every other daw 1 instrument = one channel = one track but in Fl anything can be anywhere and everywhere and if you've used any other daw for a long while it's pretty overwhelming at first.
@@xddude I actually find that cool, as I don't need to create a separate buss just to apply the same eq adjustments to several instruments & samples at once.
I NEVER regretted purchasing this program as a matter of fact, they never fail to deliver a new intelligent tool to enhance my production experience even more ! Just brilliant 👌

I still use 20.8, as a result, these features are absent... But still, I won't even dream of leaving FL Studio ever!!! FL Studio & Adobe Audition (as that's also underrated like hell!!)... These two are my life supporters even if the world spits on them or any of them!!!

I've never been one to make suggestions and do beta testing, but the amount of help and all the response we get from the devs on the forums absolutely rocks! It's so great to see many of the features that we've all suggested being implemented and that's what makes you all at the IL team, the best!
To be honest i did prefer the previous way of making themes, would’ve loved if they made both available since the previous ones had more customisation due to it just being png. But i understand it’s done to be more flexible in terms of UI resizing

First time i saw "Fruity Loops" was nearly 20 years ago when my brother made some "cool beats" with this program. 2006 i bought it for myself and i am so happy that the team behind this great software works with so much effort and love to the detail on it so many years later - and that a lifetime for free. I've been waiting for these exact audio crossfade features to be added since I realized how easy it can really be to mix audio tracks back in school... 12 years ago. So let me say this: THAAANK YOOUUU!!! Seriously pumped to get to play with this AMAZING new update!
The demo track is to hype. I can't make any music because I keep listening to it on loop in my DAW so I can hear the RAW sound. Who goes this hard on a demo track for the best DAW in the world?
STEMS EXPORT is still BAD, all 3 options for exporting Stems are terrible Inconvenient and limited, just fix that because I cant fix it with any external plugin. Give the option to apply MASTER FX's to Each stem when exporting from the export wav in the File Export, also add destination folder for Export from Mixer because its very messy the way it exports there. Lastly Export from Playlist is EXTREMELY SLOW
Cool update but I thought we were getting unlimited tracks in the mixer. It’s only 125 mixer tracks and some people want to score film projects w FL. It’s possible but I’ll have to split each scene for a new FLP file
Please also make it possible for users to assign hotkeys to the razor and pencil themselves, this will speed up the work with audio tracks in the playlist

The new save many is so damn beautiful!!! I've been waiting for so long for this! I even made a suggestion for this on the image-line forum! It's so good. I've had trouble in the past where I lost a sample that I used in a project, now that will never happen again!
Lifetime Free Updates and Perpetual Licensing is why I love Image Lines business model. It's so rare to come by these days, but when I buy a product with them, I OWN IT. I freaking love it. It's amazing and I am glad they havent sold out and started doing subscription based licensing or limited free updates and support to just one year. Thank you for yet another dope update ❤️
I've been using FL Studio since it was simply FruityLoops WAAAYYYYYY back at the turn of the millenium. I must say that I'm impressed with these upgrades that Image-Line has made! I just downloaded FL21 today so I'm looking forward to all these incredible new features!!!

I love the amount of work done in this update. It shows you care a lot and we are forever grateful. However, can we please get ARA2 integration for better use of applications like Melodyne and Vocalign? This is a feature which I believe separates other DAW's from FL Studio right now. FL is my primary and only DAW so I just have to wait till it gets done I guess.
This is one of the best FL updates ever solely because it finally added fades and themes, two of the most requested features. Thanks for listening to the community IL!

It would be difficult. FL Studio is vector based, old FL Studio was raster graphic. The new themes just change the vector graphics colours but you never know in future whatever happens.
When I purchased Producer Edition I was like Oh no.. so much money what the hell did I do, But I really didn't regret buying It, I LOVE it and it's amazing that they still doing updates to this program. (I'm blown away from these ideas) And the lifetime free updates is truly amazing, I'm impressed! And in my opinion this program is really worth the money!
This audio clip fader is a major game changer! We've been wanting this for so long! Thank you for finally making it happen. I love my lifetime free update so much right now! Image-Line is definitly aware of what its community is asking for and I am very proud to be representing the FLgang 🍓🤘
I've been asking for this update for ages. They still haven't done it. Something we need doesn't get done. Useless themes seem to be what people want. Pointless. Need to lock the clips in the playlist.
@@FireF1y644 You don't need 700+ for orchestral and hybrid. The highest I've gotten is 110. Plus, almost everything you can do with a mixer can be done with Patcher anyway. Sidechaining, busses, you can even make a fader for an instrument that moves with whatever real mixer fader you want to attach it to. Patcher gives you infinite mixer channels. You just gotta get a little creative

I’ve never seen a company taking such leaps in improving UI flow, performance optimization, while introducing a bunch of handy, and long-sought, features all together. This feels like the best investment I’ve ever made in my life! Thank you Image-Line. Xmas just got better
my favourite new features are the plus button in the playlist (quick access to create new playlist tracks), audio clip crossfades, copy and paste of audio clips along the playhead's position, the 'more' sub menu for quick access to recently opened projects, the new dedicated area for favourites in the file browser and the new project folder system, which makes it easier to collect samples for projects (this will especially make it easier to send projects to collaborators)
Can't believe you guys didn't add more mixer tracks, so disappointing.. 500 playlist tracks and 125 mixer tracks.. Where's the logic? FL is still not built for us working on huge projects with a lot of tracks going on..
Suggestion: there should be a warning when you export stems if there are any used tracks not assigned to the mixer. It seems like I’m always missing one track when I export stems from FL
I got anxious thinking how I will spend the time to try and play with all these new features. I have to request holidays from my work to sit with this new version. Thank you guys! We love you!

So, I was strugling with a mix from last 8 hours and I can confirm that this version magically fixed my mix 😇or maybe, it's the effect of dark theme 😉, I don't know. Every project is sounding great. I think you should add pleasing to ears metronome sounds in future too.

The dedication to this software provided by Image-Line is astounding, and I thank you for this awesome piece of software that I've been using since I was 14. Absolutely love it 🔥 I’ve been pretty active on the forum during the whole time FL 21 was being developed , and it’s amazing to see the process evolve and how FL listens to/reasons with their users. Many of my wishlist points are crossed off with this edition. LETSGOO 🙌

The new save many is so damn beautiful!!! I've been waiting for so long for this! I even made a suggestion for this on the image-line forum! It's so good. I've had trouble in the past where I lost a sample that I used in a project, now that will never happen again!

Lifetime Free Updates and Perpetual Licensing is why I love Image Lines business model. It's so rare to come by these days, but when I buy a product with them, I OWN IT. I freaking love it. It's amazing and I am glad they havent sold out and started doing subscription based licensing or limited free updates and support to just one year.

I've been using FL Studio since it was simply FruityLoops WAAAYYYYYY back at the turn of the millenium. I must say that I'm impressed with these upgrades that Image-Line has made! I just downloaded FL21 today so I'm looking forward to all these incredible new features!!!

I love the amount of work done in this update. It shows you care a lot and we are forever grateful. However, can we please get ARA2 integration for better use of applications like Melodyne and Vocalign? This is a feature which I believe separates other DAW's from FL Studio right now. FL is my primary and only DAW so I just have to wait till it gets done I guess.
This is one of the best FL updates ever solely because it finally added fades and themes, two of the most requested features. Thanks for listening to the community IL!

It would be difficult. FL Studio is vector based, old FL Studio was raster graphic. The new themes just change the vector graphics colours but you never know in future whatever happens.
When I purchased Producer Edition I was like Oh no.. so much money what the hell did I do, But I really didn't regret buying It, I LOVE it and it's amazing that they still doing updates to this program. (I'm blown away from these ideas) And the lifetime free updates is truly amazing, I'm impressed! And in my opinion this program is really worth the money!

Loving the new plugins that are coming in. FL has needed new/updated plugins for a while now IMO, and Luxeverb especially looks epic
The quick custom crossfades has been such a game changer for me already. Just when I thought the workflow in FL studio couldn’t get any faster

I've been asking for this update for ages. They still haven't done it. Something we need doesn't get done. Useless themes seem to be what people want. Pointless. Need to lock the clips in the playlist.
@@jasabasenara8124 Why you need more than 125 mixer channels? You dont need a specific mixer channel for each sound in project (routing)
@@Svends84 coz I do edm club mixes. Each track needs its own mixer channel. I use 20 bus mixes before I even start. 125 is not enough.

@@FireF1y644 You don't need 700+ for orchestral and hybrid. The highest I've gotten is 110. Plus, almost everything you can do with a mixer can be done with Patcher anyway. Sidechaining, busses, you can even make a fader for an instrument that moves with whatever real mixer fader you want to attach it to. Patcher gives you infinite mixer channels. You just gotta get a little creative

Good but i'm waiting for mixer tracksin mono like kicks, bassline, vocal... for good mixing.
my favourite new features are the plus button in the playlist (quick access to create new playlist tracks), audio clip crossfades, copy and paste of audio clips along the playhead's position, the 'more' sub menu for quick access to recently opened projects, the new dedicated area for favourites in the file browser and the new project folder system, which makes it easier to collect samples for projects (this will especially make it easier to send projects to collaborators)
Can't believe you guys didn't add more mixer tracks, so disappointing.. 500 playlist tracks and 125 mixer tracks.. Where's the logic? FL is still not built for us working on huge projects with a lot of tracks going on..
Suggestion: there should be a warning when you export stems if there are any used tracks not assigned to the mixer. It seems like I’m always missing one track when I export stems from FL

So, I was strugling with a mix from last 8 hours and I can confirm that this version magically fixed my mix 😇or maybe, it's the effect of dark theme 😉, I don't know. Every project is sounding great. I think you should add pleasing to ears metronome sounds in future too.
When will FL add the option to change keyboard shortcuts? I'd love to change the default function keys to the number pad for example
