I still remember the day over 20 years ago, when Brian had heart surgery. I woke up early to hear the update on the radio. I cried and prayed for him. It was on my mind all day at school. And I rushed home from school to hear that he was out of surgery and doing great. The days without internet.
How is that Brian gets more handsome as he ages? What a sweet and humble guy.

Actually his vocals are fine, he said it was the muscles around the vocal cords that strangled him

I just love how he immediately cut to the chase: "You're gonna ask me if I remember it - I DO." Just the emphasis on that last part, its like he worked like crazy to learn the Spanish version, and never allowed himself to forget it.

I remember having the single for "I'll Never Break Your Heart" and it had the Spanish version on there as well. It is so beautiful! I recommend everyone listen to it if they haven't.

1. I didn’t know that but however AJ sings the oh baby baby... part so that must I’ve been added when nicks vocals were added.
2. Yes I figured it wasnt Brian. Shame he never mentioned about the missed bit in the dance at the end. Some fans thought he was sick at that time and couldn’t get back up it was the last cut didn’t bother to refilm it so they added it.
3. Yes like in another comment there is an alternate version with ‘No Goodbyes’ it’s on You Tube. Still trying to figure out what the songs about 🤔
4. The Spanish version was even featured in the re-release single from 1999 and I believe in their re-release copy of their first album too that was released in Australia and other parts titled ‘The Start of the Phenomenon... Backstreet Boys’
I’ve been a fan of them since 1995 so I know a lot of facts about them. And another thing you may not know Nick is not even in the song ‘The Perfect Fan’ that Brian wrote for his mother on the album ‘Millennium’ Nick was sick that day to record it so they left his vocals off it
i think Nick has an issue with his mother so he doesn't have a part in that song

Yes! I'm so glad he mentioned the Spanish versions. One of the first BSB videos I saw was on MTV Latin America and it was Nunca te Hare Llorar. They sang it really well.

I remember hearing I Want It That Way in 1999 on the radio and wasn't really fond of it, mainly because of how the studio executives viewed it. I was also 7, and I didn't really see BSB from a teen pop standpoint. When I got older, and read up the group's history, I was a bit shocked it was their greatest hit. Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely, Shape of My Heart, and Larger Than Life were my favorite songs as a kid.
