- New small model dam construction, made up of sand and mini bricks. Water poured behind miniature construction until failure of the dam. This structure is built of miniature bricks without cement and shows a dam burst or dam collapse in our satisfying video

This is so nostalgic for me... When I was a kid I always made sand canals, bridges and dams instead of sand castles. It's very satisfying to complete a whole network of canals, then dig out that final ditch to let the sea water pour in. Oftentimes some bridge or dam would collapse, but when they all hold it's something to celebrate.

At Coney Island I created a few ravines so that the water wouldn’t reach our stuff. It was all fun and games until the waves decide to go crazy

I think it would still fail though considering the obvious geological mess of the soroundings. xD Crack in the side and then lead to a dam faliure that way as the supporting ground collapses and is washed away xP

Very awesome!! There was a Dam break in Italy i think some 60 yrs ago and your video is a pretty good representation of why it broke. The rocks were comprised of sandstone. They were warned multiple times during and after construction. Killed a whole village.

You should seal it with mortar and drill foundations into bedrock. It’ll be MUCH stronger that way.
